Sony WF-C500-I've been having an issue where whenever I play audio i hear an audible hissing noise coming from the pair of earbuds. It doesn't matter what volume I'm at; the hissing is consistent. When I stop playing any type of audio, whether it's from a youtube video or spotify, the hiss is present. When I stop playing audio the hissing continues for a few seconds before it stops.Anyone else experiencing this exact issue?Can it be repaired?
Great Earbuds. I bought them 2 days ago for only 50€ (orange colored). Black was still 79.99€. And without N/C. They fit in my ears very good. I tested them at work in a loud enviroment. I coud not belive the sound quality. Recomend. Love them
got sony black ones for 59 euro because my sennheiser cx400bt have broke - left earbud stop giving sound and sound only comes back with scratching if I shake my head vigorously... Sony's do have less features such as no touch control or case giving less charges and no AptX codec but sony earbuds last last the same and sound similar with even clearer vocals and a bit less bass but, not a lot less just a small bit when compared so senny's cx400bt which go down to 5hz and use 7mm driver and Sony's use 5.8mm driver with going low to 20hz. Another thing is Sony's do fit in ear more nicely and sit flush with the ear - sticking out less than cx400bt
Do they include the white noise that you especially hear at lower volume levels? It's annoying, and that's why I avoid the jabra headphones. And maybe someone has a comparison with creative outlier one?

I would get the buds 2. From what i've seen so far, you get pretty good noise cancellation(which would do well if you're in a train, subway, airplane, etc), ambient mode, and the sound is similar to the pro model (and I heard good reviews about the sound quality of the pro).
If I were travelling on a train, bus, or any public transport, I wouldn't want to not hear what's happening around me. I'd rather be aware of my environment. With everything that's happening, you can't be too careful these days.
your supposed to turn them to get them to stay put in your ear btw, I have small ears and I use the biggest foam tips on the wf1000xm4's cause just the seal makes the noise cancel so much more affective.

And finally, do they literally sound good even let's say at just, for example, 50% volume? Is it possible to disable the button controls on these things from the app or do you at least have to actually push them to trigger? I'm looking for buds to wear under a beanie for walking in freezing temperatures and don't want to get misinputs from the light pressure from the beanie.

The case will give the earbuds an extra ten hours of power for the buds on a full charge , assuming the case is fully charged and it you can not charge the case wirelessly only you can only charge it using USB-C
In the quiet room ALL earbuds will be recording nice quality audio. Try in the street, with noise. A lot of people complain about the mic in these earbuds
I prefer the JBL in terms of sound. But the connection can be spotty sometimes. The JBL reflect flow pro are on sale for $130, I'd get those If you can spare the extra money.

got C500 as a backup to my WF 1000xm4 and Bose QC. Main selling point is 10 hours battery life. Main con is the right button. The button can not be disabled and i am constantly pressing it by accident when i want to adjust my earbud which results in end of active call. when it comes to sound quality the C500 made me appreciate my WF 1000xm4 even more
I lost my Samsung bud+. Case and disappointed to see how expensive getting a replacement case is. I got a changing port but not working for one ear. Considering getting another brand to save money such as this. I want one with a physical button as when I run with a hood on my buds kept stopping the music. So thinking these would be perfect I’m just not keen on airpods
Damn, If only these buds had a transparency\ambient mode...this could have been the little brother to the XM4's! I think Sony missed the mark on this one man because other well known brands like Jabra have come out with budget buds that include transparency.

This doesn't have a fake ANC like many others and I like it. Nowadays most brands trying to sell fake ANC. The only true ANC to the best of my knowledge is with Sony and Bose.

In Poland the WF-C500 are cheaper than the Sennheisers CX's, if they were the same price then the CX's are a better buy, especially if someone is about sound quality for not that high of a price
Bought these yesterday and returned them today. For the price you don't expect top of the range quality but they are absolute rubbish, bass is practically non existent even adjusting the sound on the app doesn't make much difference..

How do I EQ this earbud? I listen to mostly rap, rnb, lovers rock and ska. I like my bass and a little trebble.

I was able to get these for 60 bucks. If you're just looking for some good earbuds without some of the other features mentioned these are pretty good.
