2nd to last is the softest one actually (aside from the 2x1 tiles), because the normal force is spread out over the whole surface of your foot, resulting in less piercing damage in any one spot. It's the same reason a performer can lay on a bed of nails
@@epixerty actually, you can step on many spikes and be relatively fine! Points hurt due to the concentration of force applied, when there are more spikes this distributes the force, this is why people are able to lay on beds of spikes with little damage!
@@epixerty yes, but it's still how spikes work, one lone spike does FAR more damage than many spikes. I've actually stood in Legos myself, it's actually just a I said, it's uncomfortable but not painful at all. But stepping on one focuses the force into a small point.
I may be grown up but I still play with legos. I actually don't feel any pain when stepping on them and as a result I always leave legos lying on the ground everywhere and I love it when anyone goes in that room without knowing. It's hilarious.

Fact: if you stepped on many legos it wouldn't that painful since you're feet is even out by the many legos all over the floor, but one single would hurt a lot because it pokes out because its small, pointy, and hard. You learn something new every day
The thing that makes stepping on legos hurt so much is the sharp corners in pretty sure so most of these won’t actually hurt to much if you just step on the top

Ever seen the Technic rim with studs? That thing has hard plastic struts all around the edge with a lowered centre. No wonder it’s often used for the base of drills.
Not too sure but I think the 3rd last one wouldn't hurt much cause of the surface area & pressure. Same as if you step on 1 pin vs a whole floor of pins. The 1 pin would hurt & penetrate into your skin but the whole floor of pins would just act like an unbalanced floor.
To be honest i think that steping on clasical lego block is most painful since it is made of plastic and has the largest surface most other have smaller surface and are made of rubber. But i must say that second is loking really painful and i dont even wanna say how last one looks.
