    Anyone out there know .... is giving nitroglycerin to someone with tachycardia and chest pain contraindicated?

    this all ideals only happened in situation with adequate staffing and support. Other than that, not applicable.

      Respectfully disagree. You may not control your staffing levels, but you control your response to those staffing levels. When your mindset is "it CAN'T be done" you are exactly right and when your mindset is "it CAN be done" you are exactly right... you are the reason not your environment. I find it interesting that when we make something a priority, we always find time to do it but when it is not important to us somehow, we always find a reason not to do it.

    Nice strategies. But NONE of them work at all (or even close to well) in the setting of nursing shortages and lengthy ED boarding times Rick.
