She also used to hide her accent a lot more, to the point people were surprised she is a Latina, and to a certain degree I do think she was putting on a cutesy voice as that was the "meta" back in the day. It's funny cause Marzia (Pewdiepie's wife) had a deeper voice when she first started recording but it got slowly higher pitch until it settled on squeak lol, Mouse's has lowered a little then settled. You hear it a lot when you look back on old videos of people in general, not just through obvious reasons like puberty, I think sometimes it takes a while to find the most comfortable vocal range.

Don't know what she means though about a lot of latinas having high pitch voices. I'm from a latino family and had some short Latinas in my family myself who were in their 30s and they don't have that.

I can only think of Yma Sumac, a singer from Perú. Her vocal range went close to five octaves.
