One of the absolute best story telling bands out there. This whole album is a modern retelling of Hansel and Gretel with themes of domestic abuse, drugs, etc. Listen to the whole album all the way through, it's intense. React to anything off of their earlier album Death Came Through A Phantom Ship from 2010. That album is themed around The Flying Dutchman story with their own stuff thrown in there. Absolutely fantastic band. Death Came Through a Phantom Ship is hands down my favorite album of theirs.
Listen to Carach Angren - There'd no place like home. It's the opening track of the album, this one is the second track and continuation to the story. The album is a concept album of Hansel&Gretel, with a horror theme. CA's albums always have a horror story behind them, and it makes it a blast to go through the whole story on one go.
First song I ever heard of them and showed couple friends. Couple months later we’re watching carach angren at Hollywood. I got to speak with Namtar after their set.
I got to hang out with these guys on their first US tour. Super chill and friendly. Seregor definitely works the crowd during shows it’s pretty incredible
Carach Angren are amazing live. So theatrical. Every song is a small horror story. One side question: Why don't you activate Windows on your display PC? That message has been lingering there for a long, long time.
Even this music i and stories are rough and full of core those artists are really fun and down to earth guys! I was watching they’re warm up band and the singer Seregor came to me and said ”i love your t-shirt”! I was wearing Carach Angren ”Seregor face” t-shirt :).
I'm new to this band, but love them.. Monster (a newer song) is awesome, too. But agree w/ many previous comments - great storytellers, great musicians, always have a horror theme.
it is not a personal reference. this is their shtick. every album or every song itself is an encapsulated story. This is basically the childrens broken psyche creating a demented and twisted version of "Hansel and gretel", juxtaposed to their own reality of being the children to a drugfiend and a raging alcoholic abuser, suggesting that whatever fantastical lunacy their mind can conjure - reality is far worse
Hello. Please try SRV. Texas flood. Live at the el Mocambo. Why is he considered by many as one of the best ever....I think you will see. Look forward to your reaction. Very grateful
Pandametal. So when are you going to start reacting to metal? MANOWAR - "The Power", MANOWAR - "The Dawn of Battle", MANOWAR - "King of Kings"......and so on. A lot to pick from. They have been around since 1982.
@@intheshadowofathousandbean563 Breath and relax. I´ve been in a black metal band here in Sweden since 1993. So I appreciate Black metal in general. Why we call this kind of thing "Pandametal" have a reason. It was like when Pat Boone tried to be heavy metal. Laughable. What are these clowns music called? "Symphonic Black Metal" i read. Could be called dance metal or maybe ballet metal. What the fuck is symphonic black metal? But listen to it if you like. More things to react to - DISSECTION and WATAIN..... Liber 218.
Carach Angren is phenomenal. Their orchestral arrangements are fantastic and their theatricality and storytelling is second to none
you should check out Sinister Ghost, they're also Italian and do something similar
Carach Angren is one of the best live shows I've seen
Ive seen em 3 times and if they come through again id go in a heartbeat

It's a musical masterpiece. You should react to that.🤘🏻
Brilliant work
Anyone else catching serious king diamond vibes? Amazing band both of them just a comparison?
Yup for sure. King diamond is great for any youngsters who haven't heard him yet. He pretty much invented the horror metal genre.
Its ominous and very spiritual.

Thinking Manowar is metal, and not all the different band and genres they listened to...
Oh yeah wanna listen to "real" metal maybe listen to Johnny Cash he's been around since 1955 crazy right? Fuck off, poser.
