    Nice footage of those trains which all where led by ACes including the last one 8444! The area is the fort scott sub which is known for the many coal trains! thanks for sharing friend!

      Thanks you! Yeah one of these days I will get a chance to get a train going from the Fort Scott Sub to the Emporia Sub.

    So far this is my favorite video because of the chase. Imagine the day in the not too distant future when battery technology will allow for a flight range of 10 to 15 miles! A whole new world of possibilities will open up to you.

    Great video...would you please be so kind to tell me how a train that is a mile or more in length know where to stop so that the REAR cars are NOT blocking any intersections? I can see
    the images in the video but I wonder how they do it when the cab is as far away from the rear as shown...thank you very much!

      Years ago I had the same question and I talked with a crew and this is what they told me. The crew will know how long the train is before they ever move the train. They basically have a measuring countdown ticker. As soon as the crew passes a certain point they can start the measuring countdown and then will know when the back of the train is clear of a intersection, switch, or whatever they are wanting to be clear of. I hope that helps.
