Miss lady, y'all are incredible - and SO BRAVE - getting through all that, especially on one rehearsal! The captions were an excellent addition for the less educated 😅
They're Human, and Humans have off days 😊. Can't be perfect every time, but it's how the person reacts to a goof - do they break down or keep their head up while continuing?
Amber, thank you so much for sharing this! I thoroughly enjoy Eva and your videos- I've become a bit ballet obsessed lately. It's good to know that even remarkably good dances are still not exempt from the laws of physics on occasion!
It was BEAUTIFUL. Sometimes stuff happens but I didn't notice until I was looking for it having to watch multiple times. Really, you all did a SUPERB job. It was not noticeable. The performance was gracefully done. You were all AWESOME.
Damn you got three of the same dude 😂 I'm thinking Cole definitely broke character making brother eye contact lol And that turn with Cruz was chefs kiss definitely 👏🏻
Had you rolling out of a carpet like cleopatra 🤭 yes I know it’s the nutcracker scene but with all the bloopers it still looked good couldn’t even tell
Sometimes, s...tuff happens! 😂😂 You are still beautiful, and even most of the screw-ups were still graceful. ❤ but I did crack up at that very first trip when you were still rolled up in the carpet. I just thought, "How in the hell do you not see or know that she's there?" 😂😂 I love you all! ❤❤❤
You know someone is a great dancer when that’s able to make a mistake look like it’s a move that they were supposed to make or when making a mistake doesn’t disrupt their flow!
And may this be a lesson to everyone: when performing, if you mess up most of the time NO ONE in the audience will be able to tell. Stay in character, don’t pull a face or give up on your routine/lines/whatever it is, and you’ll be able to carry it off
I see what you mean but I bet it wasn’t sooo obvious to the audience. Still a nice performance, esp. you had only one rehearsal. You rolling out of the carpet was perfect though!
Isn't it true that if a few (or sometimes even one) mistakes happen, it can pull the dancer (or even more than one) out of their headspace and cause more mistakes? And though it can be hard to do during a performance and ESP after it, gotta remember that in the end you're only Human and many unexpected beautiful results come from messing up. The goof could make w/e is being done look even better, the goof can help the person work on that 'problem area' and shoot to the stars once corrected - and goofs show viewers that the person/ppl who goof keep their heads up and continue on, not giving up. Admiration ❤.
Can you guys post a full of a...well considering these mistakes are only noticeable if you look close i hesitate to say non fail. But basically a full vid of the arabian nights dance minus the commentary? Ive never seen a version like that and id love to see the full thing Im serious this is amazing!
I thought that it was beautiful, and as a two left feet sort of person who just watches dancers in awe, I'd would probably only notice any mistakes if you all fell off the stage. 😂 Even then I'd probably just think that it was intentional for some audience inclusion or something unless the paramedics turned up. It was just lovely.
There were some outstanding dancers in this production. I think this reimagining of Swan Lake could be off putting. You can’t see the articulations in the legs because of the pantaloons. It felt like someone watched Moulin Rouge’s big production (from the film) and tried to merge the two styles. I’m not going to say someone’s art interpretation is wrong. As a choreographer and adjudicator for Winter Guard, I’ve seen all kinds of interpretations for years. This may appeal to someone, but not to others. That’s ok. I applaud the spirit of the choreographer and the dancers.
You know what the performance is supposed to look like when it’s perfect….a regular person, like me, doesn’t see everything that could have gone better.
Sometimes the only word that correctly sums up all the ballet chaos and anxiety in the room is "Cole"
Whoa. Even a "bad" performance from this group turns out gorgeous.
Right and I’m sure the audience didn’t notice most of these bc they are usually a good few feet away from the stage and where they are dancing
Don't lie the whole thing gives rehearsal energy
STOP IT COLE 💀 this was so funny amber but for only having one rehearsal- insanely impressive still 💞
i swear to god, no one in the audience would have noticed any of this things if they are not a dancer themselfs
I wouldn’t notice from the video if it wasn’t written there 😅
Miss lady, y'all are incredible - and SO BRAVE - getting through all that, especially on one rehearsal! The captions were an excellent addition for the less educated 😅
Sometimes its just hard to believe that professional ballet dancers fail too😭😭
And...these guys are students.
They're Human, and Humans have off days 😊. Can't be perfect every time, but it's how the person reacts to a goof - do they break down or keep their head up while continuing?
First! This is hilarious Amber😂
My sister had an acro dance where they go on in a straight line and on one competition, they fell like dominoes😭
Beautiful. 😂
Oops ! 😅
I wouldn't be able to tell without your captions!
Still looked gorgeous for the most part! And hey, no droppies!

I still laugh at the memory of the 'carpet is turned the wrong way' flub in rehearsal. ♥️ 😂
The audience never knew a thing!
That wasn't even close to something one can call a fail, that was beautiful 😍
DEI🙄
Awww, makes it all so much more relatable plus it’s interesting too as I’d never notice otherwise, being a non-dancer until recently ❤
Damn you got three of the same dude 😂 I'm thinking Cole definitely broke character making brother eye contact lol
And that turn with Cruz was chefs kiss definitely 👏🏻
Had you rolling out of a carpet like cleopatra 🤭 yes I know it’s the nutcracker scene but with all the bloopers it still looked good couldn’t even tell
now i just wanna see the rehearsal 😭😭amber please if you have any footage of that it would be soo funny
Sometimes, s...tuff happens! 😂😂

I love you all! ❤❤❤
This is so funny lol the “Cole” “Cole.” “Cole…”
Despite the “fails” you pointed out, it was beautiful! ❤😊
It happens even to the best 😅
You did a nice job anyways, and with only one rehearsal together!
And she kept smiling through it all like a true performer. 👍
You know someone is a great dancer when that’s able to make a mistake look like it’s a move that they were supposed to make or when making a mistake doesn’t disrupt their flow!
Ok so considering you only had one rehearsal, you absolutely killed it in my opinion!
I feel this on so many levels
And may this be a lesson to everyone: when performing, if you mess up most of the time NO ONE in the audience will be able to tell. Stay in character, don’t pull a face or give up on your routine/lines/whatever it is, and you’ll be able to carry it off
“Trying not to look scared”😂😂
That was gorgeous❤❤❤
I had no idea that point shoes could make so much noise. This is one thing I love and have not had a chance to see in person yet
Beautiful..hard to see any flaws ❤ but I do undrerstand the fear after only one rehearsal
Im still in awe...dont even see the mistakes 😂
I honestly can't see what's bad about that. I loved it.
I was kind of sad to learn our Dutch version doesn't have (this version of) Arabian in it! 😢 it looks so pretty!
Omg I thought this was the one where the pants came off and I eas clenching for every lift 😅😂
We all make mistakes we are human. Live performances aren’t always perfect. It is sometimes more about how we as professionals cover up and recover.
Do ballet dancers love Nutcracker season or dread it since it’s the same thing all the time? 🎄
Still looked fabulous to me!
You are right, this isn't good. This is GREAT ❤
Still looks really good. ;)
Amber that is not bad and I’m a dancer❤❤❤❤❤
I see what you mean but I bet it wasn’t sooo obvious to the audience. Still a nice performance, esp. you had only one rehearsal. You rolling out of the carpet was perfect though!
Fast walk of shame 😂🤣🤣
Arabian always at the crime scene 😅😂

Im serious this is amazing!
As a non dancer without the notes I would have missed most of the “mistakes” 😅
Ok this looked perfect 👍 still don’t understand what’s wrong 😂
Imagine a whole video to bully Cole 😂😂
The little things matter but you don't see the little things, so they don't matter :D
The amount of trust the lead dancer has in her male partners to not drop her is so very important and does she figure skate as well?
the fact that it actually wasn't too terrible tho
❤❤❤
Omg, arabian performance is the most difficult in MBA! Glad u survived!
I thought that it was beautiful, and as a two left feet sort of person who just watches dancers in awe, I'd would probably only notice any mistakes if you all fell off the stage. 😂 Even then I'd probably just think that it was intentional for some audience inclusion or something unless the paramedics turned up. This is from the nutcracker
That was impressive for one rehearsal but😂😂😂😂😂
I am not a professional dancer or ballet aficionado. So I do not see how it was a bad performance. I thought it was great.
Being to hard on the performance. It was still amazing.
So scawry... 😮
Is it from 2022?
Or 2021, based on Drosselmayer's beard 😂
You know what the performance is supposed to look like when it’s perfect….a regular person, like me, doesn’t see everything that could have gone better.
Is the fail in the room with us?
I never realised how fricking scary is being arabian princess 💀
..that was “bad”? Bruh 😭
I know nothing about ballet, but it looked good to me.
