    You are one of the best teachers on youtube for FL studio. If I ever gain decent success in music I'm gonna remember you.

    man, I always appreciate ppl used native or free plugin for tutorial instead of bringing Serum.
    I don't hate Serum, but I don't wanna spend $190 on that plugin, at least not yet.

    Thank you for this great tutorial. Just a query, but do you know why at 7:02 when you adjust the 'Attack Time Scale' knob, why does the articulation point/node on the envelope visual graph, snap back to its original position?
    And what is the difference between the position of the ADSR points and the knobs functions?
    Do they serve separate functions, with the knobs' settings merely serving to modulate the effect of original ADSR envelope, without actually permanently changing the points original positions?

    • @Jaysound
      @Jaysound  3 года назад +1

      I've found it helpful to think it this way: the graph shows you the real shape of your ADSR and it gives you freedom to make it however you want; meanwhile the knobs below are used for faster tweaking. For example if I made the attack nonexistent in the graph, the knob in the bottom wouldn't do anything.
      So I think you got it right with your final statement :)

    Thnx for this video, I've been looking through your channel now,great work buddy,keep it up. I'm 18 and really inspired by you. Which edition of fl studio do you use? At what age did you start producing?

    • @Jaysound
      @Jaysound  4 года назад

      I use FL 20 Signature Edition, latest version available. Started producing at the age of 15 or something. :)

    6:23 How come the lines are curved on the unison graph? Why not straight? Adds character?

    • @Jaysound
      @Jaysound  4 года назад +1

      Good question, it doesn't matter in this case. All of those individual darker lines represent one of the nine unison voices. In the graph I pulled down all the others except the one in the middle, so that made the OP 5 mono.

    I'm all good until 4:20. filter 2 does not play white noise for me. I've followed through from the beginning twice now thinking i messed something up, but I found out that it just does not have the white noise on it like yours does.

    dude why have you got background music going?

    • @Jaysound
      @Jaysound  Год назад

      Because I was, and still am, terrible at making videos.

    • @christiaanwernich873
      @christiaanwernich873 Год назад +1

      @@Jaysound I'm not saying your terrible lol. Your videos are good, but when a sound engineer illustrates the principles of sound, background music messes with the listeners frame of reference concerning sound
