Great reaction! Here is a little bit of BABYMETAL info...In 2019, BABYMETAL became the first Asian artists to hit #1 on BILLBOARD's Top Rock Albums chart with their latest album, "Metal Galaxy" and last month it was announced that the same album won the MTV Japan VMA 2020 award for BEST ALBUM OF THE YEAR. BABYMETAL has been melting faces and blowing minds for TEN years. Su, the lead singer, and Moa, are currently only 22 and 21 years old respectively. Yes, they were very young when BABYMETAL was formed! BABYMETAL have performed with, toured, or opened for Metallica, Korn, Dragonforce, Guns N' Roses, Lady Gaga, Rob Halford of Judas Priest (there's a great youtube video of their performance with Rob at a metal award show), and Red Hot Chili Peppers (there is a youtube video of them performing Gimme Chocolate with RHCP, as well as with Korn, and DragonForce), to name a few of many. They have performed at large metal events/concerts in front of 65,000+ skeptical metalheads in Europe (Glastonbury, Download, Sonisphere, etc), US, and Asia. Plus the 20+ awards they have been given. They have 50+ songs and each one is different from the other, so I hope you give the other songs a try. By the way, they have some really great heavy songs too, and I hope you like guitar solos, as well as bass and drum solos, like I do, because they have them too. 🦊🤘
Nice reaction ! & thanks from Japan 有難う💛。In this video, you heard the crowd shout some words at 04:30. The words are "ki-e-ro 消えろ!" meaning "get out of here!". If you do search in RUclips with keywords "babymetal 2019 forum headbang" you will find videos showing American audiences are shouting the same words at the Forum, LA. (17,000 audiences, sold out). And that shout occurs everywhere they go. BABYMETAL's activities have been worldwide. For example, since June last year until March this year (before the pandemic), they performed 20 times in USA, 19 in EU/UK/Russia and 1 in Taiwan in addition to 15 in Japan (total : 49 their own concerts + 6 appearance in festivals). Please continue to explore BABYMETAL.
⚡ 💀 💕 / 🤘 In case it's not clear, the song is 'Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!'. This December 2013 concert was Legend "1997" Su-metal Seitansai (Holy Birthday). Fans just call it 'Legend 1997' for short. The 1997 refers to lead singer Su-metal's year of birth. Su had just turned sixteen the day before this concert. Even though this song is about a fifteen year old girl attending her first heavy concert, Su was only fourteen when the studio version was recorded. It's not biographical, but it is a song she could relate to. At that age she was performing on stage, rather than attending concerts. : ) The ending with the gong is one of their many tributes to the influential Japanese band X-Japan.
Great reaction again - and yes this was all live, that was their regular support band - the Kami Band - some of Japan's very best session musicians. They played the last 5 songs in this concert ('Gimme Chocolate' was earlier in the same show before the Kami Band came on ... there is a very long explanation about this show that I won't go into now - my over-long comment on your last video was enough for you to read already, sorry about that again) and from March 2014 on the Kami Band have been with BABYMETAL for the entirety of all their live shows.
The giant statue in the background that looks similar to a Virgin Mary statue, but this has an Asian face that many say is Su, the lead singer's face since it was her 16th birthday, is a tribute to Metallica's "..And Justice For All".....which is even more evident in their closing song performance that has a RUclips video title of "BABYMETAL DEATH legend 1997 (complete)". Also the gong is a tribute to Japan's metal band, X Japan. Great reaction! I hope you do more BABYMETAL reactions especially since every no two songs are a like.
You don't need the lyrics for BabyMetal, the tone and dance tells the song. That is Pikachu in the crowd, that is a BabyMetal tradition, there are usually a few at every show.
It’s ok to admit they brought you to tears, as they have done that to many people. Most don’t really get why, but it is usually something to do with just feeling the power and emotion behind the performance without understanding a word of it. They, especially Su, are incredibly good at conveying that in their performances!
I cry at all their songs. You just feel everything. Even if the song isn't sad, even if it's generally quite happy, the emotions can be overwhelming. I cry at a drop of a hat whether I'm happy or sad so it's just waterworks with every song.
The only Metal band that makes you smile and cry I think. Awesome talent paired with energy and just pure fun. That's why we LOVE them. Welcome to our foxhole! Greets from Germany and stay safe!

Well, Gimme Chocolate was a music video. So it was the album track for audio anyways. The only reason to point out the skeletons weren't playing music is to let you know that wasn't their real band. It's not a big deal the skeletons only did some very early shows. They've been permanently retired for over 6 years.
SU-METAL is our METAL GODDESS QUEEN and an IDOL LEGEND. Its times like this when you realize three kawaii Asian girls are more METAL than you. Remember when your into BABYMETAL your into BABYMETAL 4 LIFE.....
There is a dichotomy even in the trio as they are all very polite and quite humble in real life, and have an innocence as you pointed out. Su-metal once responded in an interview asking about the enthusiasm of the audience said: "oh, they were kind enough to get excited for us." But that innocence should not be mistaken for naiveté. As Rick Wagner pointed out in the comments of your last Babymetal video the trio are well aware of the WTF factor. And they have remained in that way the same through their 10 years. And even before Babymetal from the bits of video we have seen from their professional projects when even younger. The contrasts generated by seeming contradictions on the surface are reflected in all aspects of Babymetal. If they have an underlying principle to their music and performance, then exploring the edge where different things meet might be it.
Here are the lyrics in English du-metal.blogspot.com/2013/07/headbangeeeeerrrrr.html If you follow along with the Romanji and English lyrics and listen often enough you'll start to hear distinct Japanese phrases and words and they will eventually start to mean something. At concerts even non-Japanese fans sing along and for Headbangeeeerrrr a big highlight is when they get to shout "keiro!" which means "disappear". One reason that the fox hole is so deep is all the puns and double meanings in the lyrics and it's very interesting to discover them and learn something about Japanese culture through them. With the legendary black long hair
disordered around and gorgeously
blooming crazy, this flower
will soon disappear fruitlessly
Headbang, headbang!
Headbang, headbang!
Headbang, headbang!
Kon kon kon kon!
Now the time has come
I no longer hesitate
I hold tightly
the discount railway tickets
To the east, to the west
to the south, to the north
today too I rush to the very front of the stage center
On the left side, (Come on!)
on the right side, (Come on!)
standing up still, leaning back,
jumping toward the stage, (And then!)
leaning over the fence, (And then!)
rolling over the mob, (And then!)
and then all deeply headbanging.
This special night of my fifteen,
I’ll never forget.
All the crybabies,
get out of here!
With the legendary black long hair
disordered around and gorgeously,
blooming crazy, this flower
will soon disappear fruitlessly.
It’ll never come back again
and it’s so short period.
I etch in my heart
this special night of my fifteen.
I jump lightly and dance in the air.
Headbanger!
Headbang, headbang…
This special night of my fifteen,
I’ll never forget.
All the crybabies,
from here, dis-ap-pear!
This special night of my fifteen,
I’ll never forget.
All that disturb us,
right now get out of here!
With the legendary black long hair
disordered around and gorgeously,
blooming crazy, this flower
will soon disappear fruitlessly.
It’ll never come back again
and it’s so short period.
I etch in my heart
this special night of my fifteen.
With the legendary black long hair
disordered around and gorgeously,
blooming crazy, this flower
will soon disappear fruitlessly.
I can never come back again to it
and it’s so short period.
I etch in my memory
this special night of my fifteen.
I jump lightly and dance in the air.
Headbang, headbang!
Headbang, headbang!
Headbang, headbang!
Kon kon ko kon!
Headbanger!
Headbang, headbang…
This song was made to be a classic.
Great reaction 👍

@@road-runner Do you know what concert it was where they are dancing in front of a big red-lighted screen? That is the one I was looking for and this compilation has part of that. That one really shows the choreographer's vision. It's amazing. Blah blah blah. Sorry . Anyway point taken.
@@lulu63 Yep, that was Wembley Arena 2016. No problem! Happy to help!

BABYMETAL - Rondo Of Nightmare/Mischief of Metal Gods Intro - Budokan 2014 ruclips.net/video/8WBDiLMNZcE/видео.html
Nice to see you giving them another go.
This is one of my personal favourites, along with Megitsune. The music video is for Megitsune definitely worth a watch ruclips.net/video/cK3NMZAUKGw/видео.html
If you want more tears, I know you just had something in your eye, but just in case try No Rain, No Rainbow ruclips.net/video/pDgqo6fcliY/видео.html
Absolutely love Babymetal, saw them twice in 2019, but I only subscribe to BAND-MAID!! Japanese "hard rock".
That’s not a duck.. that’s pikachu
Peter Pan! Peter Pan!
Great reaction, thanks!
I believe you will fit pretty well inside our cozy Fox Hole, but be careful, it's so deep! hehe...
I'd like to suggest you this one: Megitsune (official music video): ruclips.net/video/cK3NMZAUKGw/видео.html
