I have been flying RC helicopters since 1980. I just received my E190. While it does not handle like my much larger, collective pitch, helicopters....it is still a lot of fun to just go out in the yard and fly for a few minutes. Highly recommended !!!
I got mine about a week ago and have crashed it a few times. The only time I damaged it was when it hit a powerline yesterday and that sheared a prop blade in two and split the cockpit and nose open throwing the battery out. I replace the prop blade with a spare and was able to repair the nose together but the VHF/UHF antenna was lost in the crash. It also broke a landing skid leg and I removed it today and ordered a new landing skid, a whole new nose and body and even a spare tail motor from Bang Good today. Everything still works after the crash and I even flew it around today with no landing skids. Everyone that has one of these frisky little slicks is going to crash them sooner or later. So it's good to go ahead and order some spare parts if you plan to fly often. I've been flying it in strong winds and I know i shouldn't, but what the hell. I'm used to flying my DJI Mini 2 that doesn't wonder around all over the place on me so until I get used to flying heli's I may crash a few more times. Oh, every time i hear the startup chime it reminds me of The Beatles song, "Here Comes The Sun".
