I don't mind the stretch goal rewards of the 2 to 3 gem and the selector but the titan shards should have increased after those so that if we got every reward we could have received a titan crystal. Or maybe they should have added a 7-star nexus as the final milestone.
I think one item that should be included in the conversation re: tickets is the 7* Mr. Sinister bundle -- getting him, a 1->2 rank up and 30 7* sig stones was well worth the effort. I am at 29k points (I bought an Odin from the store and used the 5100 units on SBCs above and beyond what I grinded for), and sure the SBCs weren't great, but after Kabam added to the Milestones, I am very happy with the overall investment. They gave enough for me to take three 7*s to rank 3, I've opened at least 10 7*-related crystals (new champs and dupes), gold was never an issue. The SBCs were underwhelming for Valiants, and likely Paragons, but Thronebreakers should be very happy with the overall results and the Milestones are quite generous. If Kabam is guilty of anything, it is probably the marketing strategy -- they set too high of a bar with their words and had no chance to meet the expectations.
Well said. I recently became Paragon a week before the Banquet Event. I invested about 35k and feel pretty happy overall. I have a great deal of new solid and god tier 7 stars and a ton of rank up materials to take the best to ranks 2 and 3. Gold has never been an issue either, so all good there. You’re right, the crystals themselves sucked, but milestones were mostly good. I hope I’ve hit some of the rank rewards to give this event an overall B
I will say this event did help me (as a paragon player) to get my first rank 2 7* champs and started towards r3 but that's it hardly any resources except gold. Real thankful for the gold
I’m done the increases in units needed caused me to not hit the good objectives but I got mostly what I wanted and proud that I saved my money lol it was harder to not spend than I thought 💭
I went a little past the r3 gem. Overall the event was alright for me, some new champs, some new r3 but it could’ve been better. At least I have some units left to start building up for next year.
The "superior" crystals were disappointing. I did pick up a titan crystal with a reward of Northstar (meh!) Other than that nothing memorable (total 30,100 banquet event points). Yes the milestones are where you picked up the spicy rewards but that required a substantial unit investment. There is a big opportunity cost (financial/time) with this game. I guess that was Kabam's goal, forcing you to part ways with more units to move along the milestones progression to receive spicy rewards rather than providing them in the crystals themselves. They just need to improve the percentages within the crystal themselves for the more exciting items. Especially, for those who don't have a lot of units to spend.
Just pushed to paragon for the free seven stars and opened the free SBCs and I got only tier 6 class catalysts and basic catalysts and one tier four alpha, also went through almost every quest of act seven for units and after all that, I still only got around 10k points and the milestones were not worth it, there was nothing in anything that even came close to any of the free seven stars, and the best part of the SBCs where when I got more than 6 ISO.
I’ve spent over 10k units, I’m done and to be honest I’m satisfied with what I’m going to open after all rewards are claimed. I’ll have at least 10 7 star crystals to open and probably 2 or 3 r2 7 stars with all the catalyst I have in my overflow.
Found it ridiculous that they only gave the points for opening so only 1200 points. Might have been better if they counted “buying” them from the store as buying them so you go 400 points for each. But Kabam is greedy.

Man, today and yesterday i have pushed myself to get to the 2-3 gem , i have collected 1200units from arena's, story & side quests ❤ Finally got the gem and opened and recieved a rank 2-3 gem for science. Feeling pretty good ❤
I'm done with it. I got my 7* Thanos on one account and 7* Kang on the other. I did 30K on each account and that's enough for me. When it comes to rank rewards, I get what I get
Im personally going to spend as much units as i get from act 7 chapter 1 quests on the banquet to close it off, only so i can assure i get one more 7 star. (im newly thronebreaker)

Before the event started I though about grind arenas non stop to get more units, but since I cant get the higher milestones and the crystals are so bad I didnt do it. I already worked too hard for those tickets that gave us nothing good from the crystals to waste more time. I rather watch A LOT of tv shows than playing arenas. Can I do both? Sure, but I like to watch things and pay full attention to it. Kabam will not have more of my free time, I will only play the bare minimum, since its what they decide to give us. For me, this event was a big L.

All they really have to do is add the glory iso bundle into the BG store, but make the cap like 100 bundles or something.

ISO and units are the only reason I play the monthly quests. I don’t even bother with the daily, the energy cost isn’t worth the minuscule rewards.

I just spent 250 units just to reach the milestone for the 7* rank up gem crystal. I got a mystic gem and was able to rank up Enchantress to rank 3
