I just wanted to ask about master chassis' in general, are they noticeably heavier than the same saber with an eco chassis? And if so, how does that affect the overall feel in hand/spinning/using the saber? I'm thinking about getting a master chassis build myself, but I'm a little hesitant just thinking about the overall utility of the master chassis. It looks cool when exposed, but usually when I enjoy my lightsaber, I just like to have it in hand and swing it around, not really worry about taking it apart, messing around with the chassis while the beautiful hilt itself is just sitting there to the side. What are your opinions on this? The master chassis is awesome don't get me wrong, but is it worth pretty much double the price of an eco build and is it worth it while the chassis remains mostly inside the saber? Thanks for the awesome content, just found your channel @Sabers Forever
I personally haven’t owned any master chassis sabers until the end of 2022. Simply because I needed to bring something with me to Star Wars celebration that showed my work in person. I think if you are trying to do anything other then store it on a shelf and lightly swing it around in your house, there is no point in getting a master chassis. More parts = more potential problems. So if you are trying to get a saber to spin/swing around and fight with, then I would avoid a master chassis. It’s really for enjoying with your eyes, not your hands.
What an incredible hilt and gorgeous chassis.
