The nickel wound had a much more musical tone to it. The other ones have more of a warmer sound. But you lose those sparkling highs that are what defines a strat sound.
Las pruebas de sonido de cuerdas deben ser con sonido limpio y un poco de reverb. La distorsión no da información concluyente porque depende del tipo que se esté usando , marca, etc
I say the Nickel Wound. You are already a great player and can make any strings you choose to sound good. It's your preference. Thanks for the video cause I was curious since I use the Nickel Wound and probably will never change. Peace
I was just thinking that. I felt like they are easier on bends and they last a little longer. I have installed it on other people's instruments and they always come back saying "Hey, did you use a lighter gauge?" I use the 10-52 and they feel great.
This comparo definitely confirmed it. The NYXL lack in the crisp open sounding cleans, and lack the fun chirp treb crunch. I tried 'em, for me , a little dull and an expensive way to find out I didn't like them. Thanks for putting this up Joey !

you should have used new sets for both types
I feel like it could help if you played 2 chords, clean and light gain, by the time you did nyxl's my brain already forgot 😮
Nixel ?

Hi! Great Bridge pickup, may I ask you what brand and model is that pickup ? It sounds awesome, the nech too!
sweet neck pickup, what pickup is that?
NYXL IS WAY BETTER!! 😄✌🏻
Hillary Clinton thinks so , no pretense ! lol
My question is what are those xl and sizes? I need to know what is the ernie ball super slinky 9-42 in terms of daddario
There is no way we could hear a difference with the poor sound quality on RUclips.
Yeah youtube compresses the sound but it's the best we got
lol I bet you would fail at blind testing the difference between lossless and uploaded audio format.

One set of strings is brand new, the others played and broken in. New strings take a little while to settle down.
Huge difference. NYXL for the win.

Thanks
Bullshit , They sound the same , the only way to tell is by feeling the strings , stop pretending people .

Only real comment here
NYXL big differences, worth it.
