My husband thank God for you. I'm not a cook but I find myself watching your videos and cooking...yea! I love the way you talk about your food, it make you want to cook.. GREAT PERSONALITY. God Bless
Emma dear, Ill bet since your in a place where the culture doesn't eat them, you can get them almost free! Look up the local slaughter house by asking a butcher, and for goodness sakes don't let them taste them or they'll jack up the prices!LOL good luck sista
I haven't cooked soulfood in 20+ years, but your instructions were very easy to understand (most aren't).....I've definitely subscribed, and will be trying your recipes
Thank you so much for this video. I went right out and picked up a pack to try your recipe. Long story short, it turned out so good that even my own mother was asking for seconds. Keeping in mind that I’m far from a great cook, following your steps made it turned out fantastic. The only thing I did differently was I covered the pan with foil so it took a bit longer than 45 minutes.
Now this what im talking about this reminds me of my moms cooking wow that looks good nothing like having a good home cooked meal i love it that looks great keep up the 👍 work
Thank you so much for your video I already have the neck bones and I am going to fix me some cornbread and if all that’s all I want thank you for taking your time and giving us a remarkable video for a wonderful dish may God bless you and keep you see you next time👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾😆😆

Hey Meso! They had a really good taste but could have been a little more tender. Next time I'll keep them in the oven another 30 minutes or so. I added potatoes and carrots in with mines, trying to kill two birds with one stone lol, and had black eyed peas and corn bread as my sides. My big daddy was in heaven though, thank you!
Good morning Meso...Looks so good and it is good, I've trued it... Got a question, I want to cook some potatoes in the gravy...please tell me how to do that....for I know its going to take more than 15 mins to cook the potatoes....or should I cook the potatoes along??? Please help... I love your videos
Depending on size of potato put them in from the beginning with the neckbones then pour flour mixture over them. Or bake them in another pan until done then transfer to pan with meat and pour flour mixture over all. Then back into oven for 15 minutes or so. To do this you probably will need a larger pan as well. Or (preferably) easiest way is to bake potatoes in another pan then after neckbones and gravy come out the oven just pour some gravy over potatoes when plated up. I never do this, just trying to give you some ideas. Hope this helps! Blessings for 2023.
I made these for the first time from your recipe & they came out sooooo good & tender! The only thing was that there were white balls or something in the gravy. I don't know if that was the milk or the flour. But, was I supposed to use warm milk or warm water? I must have missed something. And that was the very step that you didn't video. Please Ms. Meso tell me lol.
hahahaha ..... Carolyn, would love to have you! I would like to feed every one of my subscribers just to show it's not just a picture or a video ..... it is delicious and something that you can accomplish in your own kitchen. Thanks for watching. Blessings
I don’t like my neck bones with gravy but I’m pretty pretty ! Sure that they taste amazing 😊 and around my way I can buy neck bones for maybe 3 and change 4 maybe the most
Water and rice 2 to 1 ratio with water being the greater. (ex. 4 cups water, 2 cups rice) Don't add rice until water is boiling, reduce heat to simmer, cover with lid, cook for 12 to 15 minutes. Don't open the lid until then. Check to see if any water remains at 12 minutes if so cook 3 more minutes. Remove from heat and let sit until ready to be used. I am going to make a video soon on making rice. You will never be terrible again. Blessings
Hi Angie, good to see your beautiful face. How are you? I had a few challenges recently but I am so much better now. Thank you so much for being here. All the best to you.
Hi Meso, I don't have pork neck bones but I have turkey necks bones...can I still use this recipe for the turkey neck bones? Also, how do you clean them?
I hate to do EXTRA ...... it taste about like Creole Seasoning. The grocers..... any Grocers will have Tony's Chschere's (sp.) Creole Seasoning. will give you the same results. Blessings
Please make more videos/ And can we see more of you please Ma'am. You are so engaging and vibrant. I just wanted to send the food police over there to take that plate of food from you and bring it to Texas. Bless you real good. And if I can submit a request, sweet potatoes please. Stay blessed and highly favored.
Hey Red, assuming the meat was of a good to decent quality it probably just needed to be cooked longer. Also low and slow is the way. Too High heat or fast cooking can make it tough. Did you use slow cooker? Sorry yours didn't work out. Thanks for watching, be safe and many blessings.
Yum, that looks so goooood! I was raised on the west coast, we never had neckbones. I found lamb neckbones a couple years back and cooked them up - wow what flavor! Hooked! Now I'll have to find pork, your recipe looks so scrumptious!
Hey there KnitinKnit, you can probably find neckbones anywhere they sell ethnic foods. Even the H-Marts have them. Yes,, they are very good. Thanks for watching. Blessings

Hey Debra, wow that's a tough one. You might be able to find them in an H-Mart. They do have them here. Be blessed.
How you make that rice though? I'm terrible at making rice. 😩
