- The Isle lads for Nike SB.
"The project started with an age-old photographic printing technique know as cyanotype in which exposing photosensitive paper or canvas to sunlight produces a cyan blue image.
Myself, Casper Brooker and Chris Jones wanted to find a texture that suited Isle's aesthetic. We also thought it would be cool to reference sunlight and how important it is for skateboarding. Ironically, we filmed the accompanying video from November to February in the UK with very little sun.
The video has become a new development in Jacob Harris’s work. In this piece we experience a surreal portrait of what exists before and after the action." - Isle co-founder Nick Jensen

After watching Shane O’Niel’s last two video parts with Nike, we see the bar being set pretty high...but I still appreciate the odd artful nature of this video and some of the creative tricks here. Thanks y’all
gnarmarmilla I would rather watch most of these dudes push than watch Shane do whatever flip in flip out he is doing at some indoor TF. Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate Shane and his undeniable skill and everything has it’s place but something like the skating you see here or in the AD edits blows anything Shane has put out to dust. That being said, again, it all has it’s place and Art is subjective, just for me, this is where it’s at.
