I just bought a yxz with turbo and trinity exhaust. Can’t really hear any turbo noise… this normal? Runs great and pulls hard but it’s definitely not as loud as I thought and really don’t hear anything from turbo.

Is that tune from Alba for stock compression. Nate didn't have one when I bought my kit, so DLP tuned mine to run at 12 psi on 100 octane with stock compression.
Does a Shift Stick make sence if you have a Turbo on? The engine seems to rev very fast so Handshift would waste time and boost, doesn't it? If you have the foot Clutch. The 2022 model does Not have a foot Clutch any more, am I rigt? Than the Shift Stick is füll sequentiell but you have to Take your Hand Off from stearing to Shift, that could be a Bit dangerous Sometimes???

That’s ok bro, yes the YXZ is running great. Just for the record the turbo YXZ belongs to a very close friend of mine that also has a 2016 N/A car. Both have had a very hard life and have been flawless. It is amazing how fast the sport shift models click through the gears!
I just received my reflashed stage 2 ecu from alba for my 2019 ss se gytr turbo. It's now showing error 42 and it won't start. waiting for a response from Nate at alba
Have you had a chance to run it against one of the newer X3 RR (195 hp) or the XP Pro, if so how does it hang with the can am & Polaris? I'm seriously considering switching to either a new YXZ with a turbo or the X3 RC RR.
TOP OF THE World Yes!!!! It was a lot faster it stayed in boost while shifting and I think that may have made the most difference. But it seriously night and day.
The Alba tune made a NIGHT AND DAY difference on my car, in fact it ran horrible before Alba worked on it. I will explain: Mine was the first 2019 SS turbo that Alba did and it eventually made 162 HP to the rear wheels. However before they figured out the problem they couldn't even get a complete dyno run; it would misfire badly above 5000 rpm. The problem was that I didn't use the stock muffler, I used a Trinity 5 right from the start. The stock 2019 model tune was set up for the factory muffler and wouldn't run with a straight thru muffler (Yamaha may have corrected that by now). Anyway, the car has about 700 miles now with the turbo and it still runs strong, in fact I almost always need to use 4 wd; if I give it full throttle in two wheel drive, while on a hard dirt road, it will be all over the road.
@@DUNEATV I’ve seen one beat an x3 before but it was tuned and had a large turbo kit and the x3 wasn’t tuned. I’d like to see an x3 with a tune and a yxz with a turbo kit and tune up against each other. I kinda want to know which machine you can push the most speed and power out of.
I don't know why Yamaha Didn't just Stick the TURBO from the snowmobile Sidewinder in it. ESP if your paying automotive money!! Cos the GF Corolla was cheaper and it'll go 300 000 miles before i need to repair it.

Yes you are right if you’re going to go with a turbo you’d be better off with the SS or sport shift model.

The MPH didn’t change much it just gets there REALLY fast! This YXZ beat every tuned X3 and RZR in the group with ease.

It beats both on flat ground or semi flat ground. If you throw in big whoops the YXZ has trouble. I hope that answers your question..

One timing chain tensioner so far and that’s after multiple full throttle launches and drag races...
@@DUNEATV How did he know the tensioner went bad? Did it start making noise? Did he replace it with an aftermarket one?
@@PsychoSavvy1 It actually jumped time...engine was missing. We took it to the dealer and they re-timed it and replaced tensioner under warranty.
