So, are you saying the eternal life is living in the new covenant, (under the laws of the new testament laws that Jesus teaches us), that we are already living in now. I'm forever changed when I read this verse. This is just added information to what I already believe. Interestingly enough I was treading as I was listening and 12:08 I was asking Jesus if this was true when I got the link.
Yeah since Eternal Life is *also* God's commandments, we are expected to live in eternal life through obedience to God's commandments He has written in our hearts. How can we say we have eternal life if we continue sinning, when the commandment that destroys sin is also called Eternal Life?
@12:24 Interesting how many saw the Romans 6:23 to mean that they can continue sinning because they have Jesus meanwhile I saw that there was two different statements and I considered the free gift to be grace that teaches you how to walk right so that you get eternal life. To me it was written as how the psalmist wrote the contrast between the end of wicked people vs the liberty for the righteous. I'm so annoyed: these teachers look down on me and they have the wrong idea. smh
