A bit of well-deserved credit to give to the team at Palit- this much weed could have been dangerous for those who don't usually have much. Not, like, overdose levels, but it could get kinda scary. It's clear that with the mango sorbet and the intermission, the team is really careful to ensure that it's fun and safe for everyone, rather than going the easy route of just getting people high quickly. Hats off to them!
Same thought! When they said 40 mil, I was like 'Well, at least one person's not gonna have a good time.' But the PaLIT team are MASTERS. They are the exact right people to be doing what they're doing.

@@cassdun619 you can overdose on anything really, though a weed overdose isn't fatal like a lot of other drugs (alcohol, street drugs, etc.)
They are clearly extremely talented. I don't enjoy being high but I still want to pay for them to feed me. The food was so elegant and thoughtfully presented.
I just gotta say, in addition to this being a gorgeous and unique meal, it ALSO was curated specifically for Zach’s diet. What a gift, to be able to enjoy an amazing experience and not have to worry about your needs. Kudos, Palit Team!

Not sure how id feel if i knew the chefs put fking maggi seasoning in my expensive dinner but i guess its unique for americans lol
lmao the chefs weren’t serving them straight noodles, it’s one seasoning in one sauce in one part of a single dish, and it does add an entirely new and unique (for the try guys) flavor. i’d rather have that than flavorless food, and it seems to have worked well with the other flavors in that sauce. honestly if it were me, i’d see it as a sign that palit knows their cuisine and it’s a nice callback to Asian comfort foods.

the progression of the try guys makes me even happier as of late. i was a buzzfeed kid, i watched a lot of them in high school and followed their stuff up to now, and it's been amazing to see their content evolve over the years (and wonderful to see them deal with and bounce back from a very public scandal with grace and cheer). this appreciation for that growth hit me during this video, which i'm watching high in solidarity, something that i absolutely did not do in high school. hey i feel like i'm being cradled by a weed gorilla too, man, hell yeah.
