Dr.Martens is such an iconic brand when it comes to alternative music culture. In this episode we each pick a pair of DMs to wear and go head to head to style a full fit inspired by a music subculture that Dr. Martens has influenced.
We all know Danny was born wearing a pair of DMs but has he got enough about him to take the W? Or will Astroboy manage to pull some stardust out of the bag? Either way someone is getting served an L by our super talented judge Etta Bond.

Gotta say dex has been missing out on some well deserved wins lately. Loved his fit this challenge, pulling through with some nice detailing and definitely has redeemed any previous hard hitting L’s from back in the day.
idk in my opinion he missed out by not wearing that see-thru top and choker, plus the jacket was extremely loose and nondescript. Creps looked nice but everything else didn't really fit.

Dex should've won. The fit was very authentic to him and to the genre he was representing; he killed it. He's almost recovered from that L he took in the Stefflon Don challenge looool
Shaq really deserved that W. going back to his Caribbean roots was a great idea, be proud of where you came from, and the fit just looked slick af. the colour of that suit suited him so well.
Danny just had the Docs vibe. I love how he put an even more alternative twist on the punk subculture with the pants. Plus the personalisation of the jacket topped it off, despite the badges haha Xx
I loved Danny's fit but agree about the patches, some more "authentic" (?) punk badges would've definitely made him the winner in my eyes, loved the trousers!!

Dex did that. The look is timeless and current in my opinion, very sleek, all in the details from chains to nails and laces. Everything seemed to fit properly in a lengths. And has rebellious sex appeal.
2 years later, streetwear is at peak popularity, teens are wearing similar chain-padlock-y jewelry, and docs are obviously still popular. future = predicted

I think Danny should've won the competition. His fit was so hard and it was really cool to see how he customised his jacket. Also his pants were mad fire. They toe the line of gender norms and stereotypes which I also think is really cool. A close second would be Elias because even though his fit was controversial it was really cool seeing him in something other than an astroboy original. You guys' channel is so cool and gives me inspiration for my own outfits. Love from Australia.
