I believe that its God's amazing grace that I found you! I see her through each and every smiling face! You have filled my heart and my eyes with tears watching you! Thank you ! ❤
Kyle, this has to be one of the best vlogs you have made. The Philippines is far more interesting in the provinces and away from the cities, definitely. 💯% 👍
Seeing the traditional folk dances never disappoints. The clothing (costumes if you will) are so beautiful, with their vibrant colors and wonderful patterns. Absolutely love seeing them! ❣❣❣💯💯💯 I can't get over how beautiful the people there are, too.

You know that you are close to the near side of paradise when you see the sea of smiles that surround you everywhere you go and you hear the greeting "Hello Friend".
I think majority of Filipinos does not know that place and their traditions, thank you, Kulas and company for featuring about Mapun. Love the colorful parade.
That last dance over wooden bamboo , its amazing 🎉 my first to watch although im an avid fan of Aliwan Fiesta ( battle of regional champions in Manila ). Tnks again Kulas , like K. Daot , i appreciate how you showcase Mindanao. Slowly , I visited some regions of Mindanao and every visit is worthy experience . Your vlogs are my compass where to.
@kulas what you did is amazing👍👍👍 I was born and raised in Mindanao. I love to travel and one of my bucket list is in Tawi-Tawi. Your content showcased the friendly people and how beautiful the island is, erasing the stigma that it is unsafe to travel in this part of Mindanao 😊
its amazing to see this part of the filipino culture not known to many... Thanks kulas for going an extra mile and loving every bit of our diverse culture... ❤️
When we lived in the Philippines, we were told not to go to Sulu or we would be abducted by the Abu Sayef. I am glad everything is different now. Thanks Kulas and Kumar.
The thing about Filipino dances that we ALL share, is that most of it focuses on arm, hip, and finger movements, with minimal leg movements. Which is fascinating because we share this with other Austronesian cultures. The most famous example being the hula dance of Hawaii.
kainngit ka Kulas Pilipinokao but nver been in most of the provinces you've visited i hope i can be there next summer 🙂; do know how though (do i need to coordinate with local tourist guide or something so i can freely visit Tawi-Tawi i love their vibrant and colorful dresses , i like to try their food too

9:45 “Cherimoya” in California, is what those fruits remind me of. Anyone know if it’s the same? Sweet white flesh with big black seeds.
6:57 Lupang Hinirang! Durian In The Duyan! (That’s how I sing it, because I haven’t memorized the words, yet!)

In Tawi-Tawi they are wearing shamra and taliko on there head which is a headband they wear for foundation day.
At the boys and the teenage dudes are wearing a yellow headband.
And the house was named maligay it used for wedding and it is the same with the house that they put coins and candy on it that they use it for wedding 🏠🪙🪙🪙🍬🍬🍬
And they had those cookies that is shaped like a tongue and it is made from sticky rice.
And you and Kumar had some custard apple AKA atis and they call it in Tawi-Tawi hatis 🍏🍏
And you had some logod-x2 which is a jelly roll that was filled in peanut like a peanut butter 🫔🥜
And you had an egg omelette that has ketchup and they filled it with rice that has soy sauce on it like an adobong kanin 🍚🥚🍳🍅🍶
And you had some capuccino near the ocean surrounded with coconut trees ☕🌴🌴🌴🥥🥥🥥🌊🌊🌊
2:50 “Hijab” is called… “Too Wrong” ?
Wow! 😂
#TooWrong
I noticed there are no poor in that place, most of the people there seems look so healthy and happy in their life. Unlike in some other provinces where you can find stressed looking people.
do they have WiFi in that island that far?
The closest Tawi-Tawi has ever got to Palawan.
Looks like the most grocery products are from Malaysia since the Island is near Sabah than any mainland in Philippines.
