Also, the Bob’s Tall Tales has a plant pot that allows you to use the shovel to pick up vegetation you like. Could help to get trees and shrubbery closer to the base on your own terms. I’m curious to see how you flesh this one out!
The new base looks awesome! I also live close to that location, 3 loot drops close by. What helped me with removing grass sticking through the foundations, is to whip the foundation. 🙂
I built my base at the furthest waterfall (the one you don’t like 😅), it is a nice place and the waterfall is really friendly, good at sharing the space with me 😂 I did fall from the cliff while building 🫣😅
I have my base on that ridge on a server and the back side of that wall registers as "wilderness" and not the ravine. Keep that in mind for temperature and wind power.
I can’t do the smaller base builds man. I always end up making them bigger than planned. I like the small cozy style I’m just not able to do it lol. Either way looks good. Lots of tweaks to do to it yet.
I done this as an x frame. But the x is too steep. The shallow roof, as i call em, doesn't have a triangle wall that fits. So heres to hoping we can get another addition. Cause I got a kind of modern look going with my airport but ark doesn't have all the pieces. I'd mod em but I need like 284gb for the dev kit. Yikes!

You can use the sickle to chop the grass to prevent it from popping through the foundation.
Yep but I already did that. What was left is part of the ground texture unfortunately

I built across from there on the second level so I could look out at the waterfalls. It's the best looking area on this map, hands down.

I like compact and small but imo four wide would have done the trick. You will see when putting the stuff in😊
