Ruyi's heart was righteous and true from beginning to end: she loved, treasured, valued and respected those her heart gravitated toward, even after their deaths, she didn't just mourn their loss, she grieved for the love and friendship lost, never to be shared again. It is no wonder she remained true to herself and protected her heart when it finally closed to the Emperor whom she had loved from her childhood. It takes a lot of frequent and endured pain to turn a loving heart to 'off' and he never imagined she had a limit: he never imagined he could hurt her too often because even if he had known that, he would have continued being a self absorbed, reckless fool. He never treated her as the love of his life, something he promised her decades before, and in his selfishness, he never had the foresight or even intuition that there *was* a line he would cross too many times and pushing that boundary would result in absolute destruction of any and all feelings she had ever for him. His arrogance, blatant inferiority complex, superstition, pathological jealousy, uncontrollable lust, immaturity, recklessness, wicked and cruel punishments to teach her a lesson by hurting and shaming her as well as those she loved, even in friendship, would vaporize the section of her heart reserved just for him. He didn't just become the object of her disdain: he earned it with flying colors. And Consort Rong is such fun: he ripped her from her clan and family, lusted openly over her, made a fool of himself in front of the entire palace and Forbidden City where rumors of his uncontrollable lust for her were rampant, he drunkenly tried forcing himself upon her, and when he finally 'took' her, it was not with her permission, but her hopeless acquiescence for her fate which was to remain a prisoner in the palace for life. That she took it upon herself (with some help from Ruyi) to never bear his children was her last act of defiance in hoping he would reject her and send her back home, but he didn't. Her sarcasm when she answers his questions are respectful of his position, but they are also deeply indicative of her disgust, disdain and disappointment in him as a man and she doesn't give a fig how he feels about it or her. I love her character! Telling him is he wants a concubine to act/speak like a concubine (his words) he should seek Consort Ling (who sucks up to him all the time, which he loves). She got in two insults in one with that perfect retort - insulted him for letting Ling pull his strings and insulted Consort Ling for acting like a new, inexperienced concubine. Then, before she leaves him, she metaphorically slaps him in the face by telling him he owns the world, everywhere he goes, people will suck up to him and women will crawl all over him, so he doesn't need her, her company, or her counsel. She dismissed him as if their roles were reversed. She obeys only to keep the peace in the harem, but never lets him forget how repugnantly she views him. I love her character!
A foolish emperor is more like an eye looking at the truth, and this is the same in the workplace in Korea. No matter how important the hierarchy is, it is a person without truth. It can't be a really stupid reality. Be wary of sincere, deep-seated, or competent people, and like flattering employees who do comfortable things to meet the needs of employees. The emperor, who liked flattering concubines, fell deeply into the charm of the dancers planted by the concubine. Even knowing that it was not true, the entertainment for a night turned away from the empress' truth in an instant, and went into the stomach as if the present was the most precious thing, possessed by something. I thoroughly enjoyed the nightlife with the dancers. In the emperor's entanglement, the emperor's eyes revealed the image of a tyrant, ignorant, and foolish.

Yongji actually only Hallucinated, he didn't Scream or say anything at all, he just simply ran away. It was the eunuch beside him who mentioned the matter about them hugging my saying that 12th prince was the one who said it.
