@@losthomestead14 It's not a sad life at all, actually! Studies have shown over and over that not only are indoor cats happier, they're safer and live longer, as well! You just need to give them plenty of attention, toys, and things to climb on, scratch on, etc. If you wish your cat to have some freedom as you say, there are much better ways to go about it than letting them randomly roam, such as training them to walk on a harness or building an outdoor enclosure for them, or even simply supervising them when they're outdoors. I'm actually on the side of cosplay dude from story 11. Autistic dude made a slightly off colour comment, and get banned for life and put on a watch list. Not ok, he is the real victim in this
21:53 how on earth did you conclude that the job location is relevant to a clerical error? you yourself admitted that no one would have known enough info to know your last name or the school you attended. this is a major reach tbh
I don't see how cosplay dude comment was offensive, well maybe to an obese person but he was just saying she wore the cosplay well as opposed to someone who might try and squeeze in to a like outfit.
@@viewingonly5204 read again genius, "I don't see how the comment was offensive" didn't say anything about grabby hands, or boundaries. Nor was I defending anything that occurred after, on Christmas, over tea on Sunday.
With the cosplay story, I don't think the guy meant any harm, but I can definitely see how that comment would have upset her. She worked hard on her outfit and he made it only about her body. Grabbing her was an absolute no-no. I'm autistic and social skills did not come naturally to me. I have had to practice them, have had many failures, and it feels awful each time it doesn't go right, so I really do feel for him. I know what it's like to think I'm saying something nice, but it's not taken that way. I NEVER touch someone without their consent, though. I hate being touched without consent, so it's not something I'll inflict on another. I think, in some ways, I have it a little easier as an autistic woman. When I'm awkward, people think I'm just an idiot. Not so for an autistic man. They're perceived as dangerous. It makes me fearful for my son, who is also autistic (apparently, it's genetic.) I have been teaching him social skills and boundaries. He has a reputation of being a polite and courteous young man. It can be taught and we are capable of learning. Yet there are so many people who are under the impression that being autistic gives a valid excuse for being unrepentantly socially inept, so they don't focus on teaching it. And it's the autistic person who ends up suffering for it.
The story about the cosplayer is so unsettling. On one hand, I understand the guy claimed to be autistic and maybe he doesn’t understand physical boundaries and speaks impulsively. That’s not an excuse for the harm he. Caused. My son is 19 and autistic, and he clearly knows to respect women and to not ever physically grab anyone, period. He wouldn’t even think of doing it. He also doesn’t fat shame people, especially women. So this guy didn’t have much to lean on here. What he did was wrong. I also have a hard time with this story bc I understand so well as a woman when someone comments on your “physique” and the whole back peddling b.s. She did the right thing reporting to staff.
I live in South Carolina and my now fiancé who is from Goose Creek told me that most of his aunts, uncles and grandparents were killed by Pee Wee Gaskins. Its really strange hearing about him in one of these stories just it was only a few years ago that my fiancé told me about after we started dating.
I didn't get story no 2. There were people there but nobody saw them, the was missing but was OK, much running in the garden, a constantly bored cat owner, I am confused 😂
The last one, with the older lady in it made me sad. She must not have realized that she had passed away and was going to feed the geese. I imagine when the geese didn't eat the ghostly bread crumbs, she finally realized that something was amiss. I hope she found her way to her eternal home. He Rest in paradise, Judy. P.S. Makes me wonder, is there a light that you go to? Is there someone waiting to guide you home? I've heard of many cases where people see their deceased loved ones waiting for them. Right before my granny passed away (yes, that's what us kids called her) in the hospital, she asked why the staff wasn't letting my grandfather in to see her. She said he was walking up and fish the corridor and standing at the door, looking in at her (there was a glass so you could see in.) I still think of her when I smell her favorite perfume and it takes me right back to that special place in time. I miss them both very much and I hope they are resting in Paradise also. 🤍✝️🌷

As a person who is severely mentally ill, thank you for this. It's enough what parents, teachers, classmates, bosses and others do to us. We have suffered enough as it is.
@@johanaklaudyova8764Absolutely! Who is going to protect us from our protectors if not each other?
Mountain bikers are already doing something scary so this might spook my pants off😮👀
Love your channel Joel! This is perfect timing cause my mom and I will be painting rocks and listening to this tonight.
That's so wholesome and sweet! What are the rocks for?
@@CleoHarperReturns For fun!I like to paint animals and landscapes while my mom does dirty pour painting. She also has currently learned a new technique with designed napkins to put on rocks. After we paint and seal our rocks we drive around town and hide them for people to find which they can keep or rehide if they want.
@@lana8616 Oh that's so awesome! I'd be thrilled to find one, but I'd probably keep it.🪨It would be too charming to part with.
My mom and I would hide eggs around a neighbor's yard because he always picked them up and put them into his pockets. We never did find out what he did with those eggs, or how he thought they got there.😁 Mom bonding can be fun.
@@CleoHarperReturns That would be so cool if you did! I love spending time with my mom as well. Do you do any painting or other crafts?
I love listening to Joel while making crafts
Great video Joel! Love your narrations!
Joel, I just wanna say that I've been watching since last September when I dormed for the first time in college. I was having a rough time and ur vids helped me to get through the tough times. I had to go on medical leave coming home and have been listening to all ur vids and podcasts since. U have always been there with ur stories and I just wanna say thx for the positive impact you've had on my life so far. You deserve all the success this channel has gained and I hope ur doing well. ♥
The good old days of AOL, AOL Canada and AIM. Yes from my generation, lol. Yup I'm old eh . Excellent set of stories

I love scrabble! Lol
Him: I was NOT about to go back outside.
Also Him: So it’s 2am and I decided to look outside for my cat again.
Me, a realist: Your cat hates you. Your dog too.
"I teach my children to remain calm in stressful situations... ...I screamed at my mom to stop yelling and..."
Classic. My dad used to scream, "I'm not telling! You'll know when I'm yelling!"
Same energy.
Recently I joined this channel and love to hear stories when I get home and relax, by the way, when I was in my teens, me and my friends saw a naked guy, he wore a coat and showed him to us, one of my friends said "wow, small thing!!" with a normal voice, the pervert had run away 😂
my fiancé will get upset if you aren’t already playing when we hop into bed 😂 he can recognize your voice and everything. Your voice fills the silence perfectly.
I’m glad you can enjoy these stories with someone, because it’s so hard to explain to others in my life I like these true scary narrations - they get confused and call me negative
@@bowiestardust98 mine actually was the same way at first, but I said idc bc it’s the only way I can fall asleep and since it wasn’t affecting him he didn’t really have a choice, He went from changing it to something different the moment I fell asleep, to personally getting offended when I don’t play let’s read while going to bed. I think I’ve just conditioned him at this point 😭🤫 like a dog lmao
The Swiss army knife always comes true in the klutch ❤
I'm actually on the side of cosplay dude from story 11. Autistic dude made a slightly off colour comment, and get banned for life and put on a watch list. Not ok, he is the real victim in this
did you miss the part where he grabbed her?
Am I the only one who loves the way Joel says pumpkin?
Thanks!
Finally hear early right before my shift ❤️
Why would a you read a story that peaks at randomly hearing something? Horrible, truly.
Leaving your 9 yr old in a waiting room by themselves is WILD. My mom would NEVER.
37:56 I"M DEAD LMAOOOO
2nd story is hard to believe
Love you RUclips Joel!❤🤍💙
21:53 how on earth did you conclude that the job location is relevant to a clerical error? you yourself admitted that no one would have known enough info to know your last name or the school you attended. this is a major reach tbh
The “I’m SpongeBob” 😂😂😂😂
Lovely SpongeBob impression lol
The dead people sometimes doesn't realise they are dead and keep on doing things they love.
I don't see how cosplay dude comment was offensive, well maybe to an obese person but he was just saying she wore the cosplay well as opposed to someone who might try and squeeze in to a like outfit.
He grabbed her.. I don't think the comment was that innocent. Weird that you'd side with someone who has zero boundaries with strangers.
@@viewingonly5204 read again genius, "I don't see how the comment was offensive" didn't say anything about grabby hands, or boundaries. Nor was I defending anything that occurred after, on Christmas, over tea on Sunday.
As a mountain biker myself only thing scary about mountain biking is the prices some of us pay for our bikes
Let's read is your guy
Interesting
I love mountain biking
Do a video on people withe the worst war crime
Lolol the im spongebob through me for a loop 😂
Legs Eleven, 11th video of me saying Hi Joel!
Mother: "Never trust a stranger, understand?"
Daughter: "Right! Never trust a pretty face!"
Mother: 😐
Do a vide on people with the worst war ctimes
Obviously down to the bottom of the pile.
Punkin ♡
I'm spongebob got me😄
Only one of these stories was about mountain biking..
ok?
Hey, Let's Read! I've always wanted to read scary stories like this for a channel. Do you have any advice?
That first story was so boring i had to replay it like 5 times and after the 6th time i was just like ehhhh idc anymore.
Respect the elders. We know better. Especially those who have always been there for you.
I live in South Carolina and my now fiancé who is from Goose Creek told me that most of his aunts, uncles and grandparents were killed by Pee Wee Gaskins. Its really strange hearing about him in one of these stories just it was only a few years ago that my fiancé told me about after we started dating.
genuine question HOW MANY INTROS DO YOU HAAAAAAVE
I didn't get story no 2. There were people there but nobody saw them, the was missing but was OK, much running in the garden, a constantly bored cat owner, I am confused 😂
I think it made perfect sense. Life is stranger than fiction. People are very weird.
Thanks again friends and remember everytime you ask why evolution adds or removes a nipple from a cat
