This is martingale algo and not hedging. Hedging is to buy and sell without closing ur buy position just to hedge ur loss on the buy position assuming the buy goes into loss.
My own take is don't leave a robot to over trade for you, have a target daily, when you meetup to your target or maybe close to your target, close the robot for that day. An trade the next day. As a begginer that my advice. Real life trades loose money, likewise forex robot, don't be greedy as a begginer, the moment you meetup to your target, close the robot for that day an take a new day.

Trading bots are mostly scams... but there are exceptions. You just need a lot a patience to backtest and run many bots, discard the ones that are scams and keep playing with the ones that are good. EDIT: since so many of you ask, yes I use Galileo FX..

If you are confident enough in your forex trading experience and strategy you can design a non martingale smart robot and make consistent returns through it , this people with such robots as myself keep em private, you wont find em on the market, you wont get a copy since they are not for sale. Forex robots do work , but just as 95-98% of traders of traders loose money , 2-5% of existing robots work well consistently, most guys just get their hands on the remaining 98% which will blow your acc overtime.
