Ay thanks for putting this challenge out Luke! Definitely pushed me to really polish all my thoughts throughout the year! As for Wells Fargo, let's see what happens!
didn't see this creator challenge going around, but this is such an interesting topic! will be following along to see if these predictions end up happening
Isnt that true? I have learned so much from the creator communities in the finance, banking and credit card space. I learned about the free $101 from schwab investor kit for opening your account with $50 from Anthony venture. I would have never known that, had i not stumbled on his channel. Other creators offered suggestions for the amex gold uber eats credit by getting a gift card from Cheesecake factor or the other few resturants. So thankful for peer learning opportunities both creators and commentors on videos
Really excited to see what Wells Fargo does in 2024 with the Journey Card and the introduction of the new travel partners. If they play their cards right, they have a chance to be really competitive. Hopefully they at least use Bill's travel partners as a reference and add at least some of them. Would be super interesting to see a higher-tier Amex Card (Titanium) coming out. Love the predictions & great video Kevin!
Another big time competitor will be amazing for us consumers.. more opportunities to get even more value for thos of us willing to put in the work! Thanks Matt!
Autograph Journey is definitely going to be the CSP/Premier tier card. But Autograph Beyond is going to be the big card in AF and potential travel luxury. Also Wells is launching new Business cards. Full court press.
the CSR can be tricky to be overhauled. if they actually do raise the AF, that means either Chase need to raise the AF of CSP or add another card in between, bc the difference in AF can be huge. That said, Chase will be launching the Edit program early next yr and we'll see if they would also bring some changes on CSR.
Looking forward to see what Wells Fargo brings to the table! I also think we are going to see changes to the Venture X. Doubt Chase makes any big changes, they don’t care. Solid predictions and great video!🫵
Looks like everyone's excited about Wells Fargo and what they have in store! And yeah at least til now Chase doesn't seem to care, but with increased competition, they've gotta and some point right?
Let’s go Kevin! Could you imagine a $1k saks credit 😂, then I’d actually buy those prized meats from there if that was the case ha. Also I think we’ll see a lot of this come to fruition, that new Amex card would be insane, my gut feeling is they don’t release it in 2024 but that’s not based on data at all, Infact, data points to your prediction being right ha. Also for sure I can see a Chase overhaul. It’s been 3 years since the Reserves annual fee was raised. And agreed, inflation will be the death of us 💀 Great video Kevin! I like your takes!
Heyy thanks man! And yeah, maybe not in 2024.. but I sure hope they don't start knocking the Plat down even more to prepare for the Titanium... Inflation everywhere, even points and benefits haha, thanks for the support! You have predictions you'll be sharing too?
@@KevinYang For sure, and me too, maybe that’ll just be the writing on the wall though hmm. And yes! Just 1, video out tomorrow, actually similar thumbnail to this video ha. I’m thinking the Reserve becomes popular again whilst Chase builds out more lounges. Many more things as well but that’s the main thing.
No one mentioned the best card of all. The new Chase Hyatt premium card. 10 ENC, Explorist status, 1 cat 1-4 annual 1 cat 1-7 at $20k spend Or the new Hilton Business card changes. Removal of Priority pass and adding 20% off hotel stays and 20% off car rental Also I predict Collinson Group, who owns priority pass will be bought by Amex or Chase in 2024
How would it work if I get the chase sapphire reserve now? I have never had a card with an annual fee. Would I pay that $550 right away, and if they make changes to the card and increase the annual fee, thats free value in year one for me?
You'll have to pay the annual fee right away. If they make the changes, historically the new price does NOT come into effect until your next renewal (and you may or may not get the new benefits already)
Cool thanks of the info. I guess the only "risk" is if they increase the SUB with that AF but that could also increase the spend requirement, so I think I'll lock in the 4k in 3 mo just so im sure I can hit it@@KevinYang

Kevin talks the talk but he also walks the walk. I really feel these predictions and I think we are all excited about the "Wells Posibilities".

@@JazzyMarineVetHell yeah Jazzy! Free $101, and don’t forget to do the Fidelity $100 “starter kit” by depositing I think $50?
Will be interesting to recap this next year and see how accurate all of these predictions are!

Wells Fargo REALLY entering the game then!

Yeah.. but also I wonder if the "$95" card that so many companies have will get inflated too, maybe $150 or so would be the new target

@@AnthonyVenture Oh yeah the lounges! Still have yet to visit any Sapphire or Capital One lounges.. hopefully next year!

Yes! A more premium Hyatt card would be amazing, and I'm sure would be really popular!

I would be surprised if anyone except Amex gave a Clear credit
Titanium card would be stupid. It would be palladium or Rhodium card not Titanium 💀
Haha maybe, but probably not as attractive or understandable of a name to the general audience
@@KevinYang Ah this is true 😭 Rhodium would be a nice card name 😻 thanks for the video!
