It was narrated from Thawban that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
"Three will fight one another for your treasure, each one of them the son of a caliph, but none of them will gain it. Then the black banners will come from the east, and they will kill you in an unprecedented manner." Then he mentioned something that I do not remember, then he said: "When you see them, then pledge your allegiance to them even if you have to crawl over the snow, for that is the caliph of Allah, Mahdi."

As far as I am concerned, the red cows have nothing to do with Islam.
We have our own prophecies. Only Allah knows when Qyiamah and the major signs will start. Honestly though, it does not matter directly, because we are in this test, and we know that when we leave this world, then we will be questioned, and nothing can be done to help ourselves until the day of judgment.
So instead of just trying to know when the day of judgment will take place, try to see what we have prepared for it. Also, always remember, that the time we have left on earth, is the time we have until the day of judgment. Because ones we leave this world, we cannot do more good deeds, and time will pass in a different way, only Allah knows how fast time passes then, but it means that ones we depart from here, then our judgment would come very soon.
