Great looking vehicle... the options listing at VW is what usually kills you when considering purchasing them. Also, I agree, it just still looks like a Tiguan as the front and back actually look the same. A hybrid Lexus would be a better buy if you're gonna spend that kind of money. Zero electrical issues for us outside of Europe.
There needs to be a new car show. Top gear is done. Forget about it! You, Mat from carwow, & Henry Catchpole (3 best RUclips car reviewers imo) should get together and do a RUclips car show for TV. Simple! It’s all about vloggers these days so the idea is long overdue I think anyway 🤔
I’ve always thought as a pedestrian and a cyclist, when someone will be hit by a car with driving “assists”. There are times that the driver must cross the line (when safe to do so) in certain situations. I’ve never driven a car with that system, but I’d like to know if the driver can over ride it with just the steering. The issue with the 737 Max has really got me thing about automation and how programmers have a) done a job testing for all situations and b) screwed up the software and, or systems. It’s reasons like that I believe self driving cars are not safe, you’d be nuts to sit in one. Just some thoughts. Also, if your going to throw that amount of money at a large SUV, VW really doesn’t have the cache that most owners would want to have. Subtle extreme competence at this price range doesn’t cut it.
