Hey I’ve got some really great news to share with you, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died on a cross and resurrected on the third day so you may all have eternal life. If you believe and repent of your sins and put your faith and trust in Him as you would a parachute jumping off a plane at 25000 feet up in the air, He will give you eternal life in heaven as a free gift and I promise you, He will change your life forever as He did mine. He is the ONLY way to heaven and He loves you all. Please think deeply about this with urgency because this is your eternal life and soul, you don’t know when you could die, meaning you could die at any moment, so please consider this with all your heart. Once in the late 70s, a local radio station spent a day counting down the top 100 songs of the decade. I was 11 or 12 years old, and my pick for top song was Why Can't We Be Friends. Since I was quite young, I took the countdown far more seriously than I would take such a thing now. I figured this song would at least be in the top 10. I listened all day long. Finally, when it got down to number one, I figured this had to be it, since it had not appeared on the list all day. But no. The top song of the 70s was: Feelings. This song was not even in their top 100. It was a real learning experience for me.
Violence and intolerance will never end, but i found another sense by this, that no matter how worse the world is, everyone can live in harmony and love each other unconditionally and vibe for a song together.

“Why cant we be friends” 🔥🗣️🔥🗣️
If your mad at someone and it's over something pitiful, listen to this song. Old, but yet wise.
This really is the question right now! Why can't we be friends? If we could just try not to hurt somebody with our actions and words it really would answer this question.
Yeah. I. Remember. These. Guys. They. We're. Great. Great. Music. And the. Lyrics. Are. Awesome

Saw them last night in Immokalee FL...Lonnie is still rocking! Superb
Lindo, Hermoso, Gracias.....Un abrazo desde Chile
More relative than ever.. Peace to all, and thank you for this amazing masterpiece!
I love WAR, thanks to my father. He would play me low rider in his 82 Supra when he would pick me up from the bus stop after school! Good times. I wouldn't know of this band if it wasn't for my dad.
Saw WAR in the 70's, 'Day on the Green" concert, great memories of a great band.
Why can't we have songs like this anymore?
@@uietwyatt4841 Typical answer from a fucking gaymer. Let me know when you grow a dick, your balls drop and leave your parents' home.
I love the intro to this song. It instantly puts me into a good mood when I hear those "Ooo Ooo Ooo's"
Agradezco a mis padres haberles heredado el buen gusto de la música de antes ❣️❣️ una verdadera joya esta canción
This song beats a lot of songs in the top 100s.
America needs this now more than ever
Lethal weapon 4 had me looking for this song.. I found it (thank God) and I can't get enough of it.. classic!
Violence and intolerance will never end, but i found another sense by this, that no matter how worse the world is, everyone can live in harmony and love each other unconditionally and vibe for a song together.
me and my old man would listen to this band on his playlist all the time, Its engraved in my mind. RIP My grumpy old man we all miss you
This band needs more recognition.
I've commented on this Song more than a few times. This song was amazing when it first came out. Its even more important these days! The lyrics are a wake up call & A Message!
I wish I was born LOOONG ago. I watched Lethal weapon recently and hearing this song at the end of four just... Resonated. War was great and I hate how I was born too late to witness it all in the flesh.
These guys are so ahead of their time.
This song would do fine were it released today.
Good stuff. Don't miss out.
This music is very beautiful and relaxing, hopefully it will not be forgotten
Such pure, clean and true lyrics. This song penetrates the soul, truly an absolute exceptional song.
This song was very edgy for the day and time. Love it! I’m 52 and haven’t thought of this song in many years. So happy to find the video! WAR for the 40 year win 🥇!
Edgy? You don’t know what that word means, lol.

I love the spirit of this song, I would have been proud to write it...
Back in 1981 I use to visit BB in San Bernardino CA. He was always nice and cared what my friends and I were up to
Still love this song after all these decades 💕
One of my favorite songs, like the message it sends😊
Love bass playing on this great song. We PRs admire musicians from USA so much, very well educated and skillful
I LOVE this song even though I wasn't born in the 70s. It's a good jam to listen to while cleaning up.... 💕
This song speaks an important message while being such a banger.
the world needs to hear this song more than ever.. right now.
Omg I was just thinking that as I found your comment
Obviously BLM have never heard of this Band!

This song is almost 50 years old, and it gets better every time I hear it.
This message is what we need now more than ever in 2021.
This video and song should be played in all languages everywhere.
Just watched Lethal Weapon and this song plays during the credits. Had to listen to it again.
The 70's is the greatest decade of all time.

Gas prices beg to differ
@@WTMNNJR
I do not have to squabble and whine over gas or food prices cos I can afford them. I went to school, learned a trade and strived for the money I made. Retired at 46. If you're struggling over prices, its your own fault.
Best decade for music! The sound is unbeatable.
My Mom bought this album when I was a kid. I'm glad she did. Beauty to my Black & Brown Cali bros&sisters
This is something I’d listen to 24/7
This is the Great America right here
BB Dickerson's face at 2:20 always cracks me up
