to have money you'll have to choose between earning more or spending less so research side hustles. I would recommend investing in personal finance education through books and budget wisely so you can save but also spoil yourself. also invest in creating an emergency fund and a maintenance fund - have a minimum requirement balance for your maintenance and save up at least half that amount and pour into it monthly so you can always have money to spend on beauty.
What a lot of people miss when upgrading the wardrobe is FIT. The brand and the price are COMPLETELY irrelevant. The structural integrity and the way it sits on your body needs to be the top priorities when shopping. I buy second hand and have gotten amazing quality clothing for fractions of what influencers spend.
If its not expensive, it's time consuming. I do my own nails, hair, facials, waxing etc. at home and it's time consuming. Especially in the beginning because of the learning curves.
I found ways to glow up on a budget, i do my own nails, brows, facials (home-made and purchased), cook my own healthy meals, cheap quality makeup, use an app for exercise and jogging, buy clothes that are of good material at a certain places for cheaper price and knowing how to style them, right colors, right fit, investing in key and essential skincare. It is possible to do glow up on a low budget, it doesn't need to be expensive at all.
Yep! I can totally relate to this. I do my own pedicure/manicure and then I’ll pay $18 to get them painted if I want (regular polish lasts so long in my opinion!) I use my community gym and there’s also a walking trail right by my house! I also do Pilates with an instructor on RUclips! Cheap, healthy meals (I never spend more than $20 on trips to the grocery store!) are great too! Learning how to do my own hair, shop on sales and everything has been a life savor! It may not be super glitsy and glamorous but I’m definitely polished and always put together! Thanks for the comment 🥰
I always shop during sales especially at these big companies. I don’t shop sales for smaller and independent brands because they’re most likely running on small margins to be competitive. I have beauty products to last me a while so I don’t buy anything until it’s all done. Trendy items I find dupes on. I don’t like tips so I do my own nails and have done them for decades. I prefer to work out at home and splurge on classes and massages instead of paying for an expensive gym. I went to a Chanel counter for a makeup consultation for a look I can replicate everyday regardless of I use Chanel products or not.
Girls, but second hand. Especially the apps like Vinted are super easy to use, you can filter over brands, price, size, color etc, so you can find what you want. I got beautiful high quality items for a fraction of price and completely rebuilt my wardrobe on budget.
I just signed up for equinox bc I wanted to normalize the luxury environment for me and bc I deserve it, taking the time to just pour into myself and having a nice space to do so is worth it
Yes and then in the same sense you become your own accountability partner, which really strengthens the relationship you have with yourself because it heightens determination + more. I hope it’s a wonderful experience for you!

Hi 😃 I am from Europe but from the eastern part where people have a lot less money compared to UK, Germany, France.. I will use your recommendations about shopping on sale. We have some pretty good drugstore brands here… where I usually buy most of my products. I like to save a lot on my makeup up since basically no one can tell what brand you use. (There is this brand Essence witch is vegan, and like 3-4 dollars each product). Sure it is not lasting 18h on you… but I can’t eve even complain. No brand I ever used looked flawless after a full day of work, sweating, wearing mask as a nurse student. My question is: are there no such brands in the Usa? I mean we have sephora and douglas here, where a lip gloss is 25-30$ but I think it waaay tooo expensive. I have some YSL products which I got as a gift…but when it cones to the price/quality, I dont think it is 5-10x better than a basic drugstore product. The price would reflect it that way.I will drink a coffee and it disappears anyway 😅 maybe some can buy it without guilt feeling but not me😂. There is a dupe for everything. Thank you for reading my comment and I hope it is understandable 😅
Thank you for your comment :) We do have drugstores as well that sells affordable makeup for $9-$12. We also have "beauty supply stores" where you can get quality makeup for $1-$10 depending on what you're looking for! There's also makeup department stores that have markdowns. I think most luxury makeup brands have collections that are supposed to work together to support longevity. Whenever you put on a foundation, you have to set it with a powder for it to last; some foundations work with certain powders and others don't! At the end of the day, it's all about finding what works for you, but I still think that following the necessary steps for application (which is actually supposed to last 3 hours long for "perfect" all-day wear) is really important for when looking your best is an absolute must!
I cannot always afford the best makeup, but I make space in my budget for a really high end setting spray so that whatever I do use, lasts all of my work day. It is my most important product.

Exactly

It’s worth it though. You also put into the universe that you’re worth it. Eventually, your reality will catch up with your efforts 😊❤

I like using the Ordinary for skin care. It's affordable and contains the main ingredient.
