- The INCREDIBLE Tiffany Mann lends her immense vocal talent on our take on the highly requested "Snake Eater" from Metal Gear Solid 3! An incredible tribute to all things James Bond, I was thrilled to give this legendary piece of video game music the sexy jazz orchestra treatment it deserves! The animation style is inspired by the idea that Metal Gear Solid would have made an awesome 16 bit style Metal Slug side scrolling shooter game! Hope you enjoy!
Also just to say it, this video was recorded about a year and a half ago well before the age of COVID! So no worries about safety

This is unironically a better James Bond theme than many actual James Bond themes
It sincerely beats almost any theme from the Roger Moore era by a country mile, and even the couple of truly good ones from his era it's still better than (though by much closer margins).
Yeah we got a god-damned teenage girl singing the bond theme.
@@Moonknife She's 20 years old dude
I know they are working on an MGS movie with Oscar Isaacs, and the director seems to be passionate about MGS. I hope they eventually get to MGS3. I've been obsessed with the idea of a live action Snake Eater since I first played it all those years ago. Gimme Big Boss taking down Cobras one by one, being beaten and battered the whole way through. I always had in my head the film showing the toll it takes on Big Boss, physically and mentally. Give me a scene like in Die Hard where John's feet are torn to shit from glass, and you FEEL every injury from earlier in the movie. THAT would be satisfying 😌👌

I laughed when I was 12 years old, I'm still laughing now XD
I thought I was the only one
I feel like that line was put in specifically to give levity to an otherwise really serious, if campy, sounding song.
Also the fact that in the original ps2 version of Mgs3 opening, there's a button option to plug in the "snake eater" whisper as much as you like. I had a field day with that one lol
This is not an easy vocal lead and she just dominated it like it was child's play for her. Cool arrangement, LOVED the pixel art.
and you see her at the end. she was just loving it. like it was fun for her. I love that passion. amazing
I don't often listen to vocal covers because it's rare to match or enhance the original singers, but she did amazing!
Damn, Tiffany KILLED IT. Such a rich sounding arrangement, big props to whoever did the mixing. 70's funk vibes with a solid jazz orchestra underscoring a lady with a great vocal range.

the goosebumps i had when her voice starts and then swells just enough to really get the vibe of the phrase of certain lyrics, and how the blend of the band is just right that both singer and band shine perfectly *chefs kiss*
i love how she lets the intensity of the vocals build up over the course of the song instead of going balls out from the beginning like the original, nice added touch that really makes it stand out from the countless covers of this song. Also black girl magic : )
Tiffany killed this oh my god
Dude this is literally the first piece of music that has brought tears to my eyes. The way she sings is so passionate and the band was on point as well. I can’t express how much I love this. I hope anyone that listens to this has the same experience
