Very nice. Clicked on this because it was Helsinki. Way back in the last century I was an exchange student to Finland (from USA). So I like to see it. One of my favorite things was an art exhibit of Ilya Repin, a Karelian born Russian painter. Born before Finnish independence. My favorite city was Porvoo.
Thank you so much! And wow that’s really cool, hope you enjoyed your time here 🤗 have to check out that exhibition if it’s still available! I would love to visit Porvoo some day as I’ve only heard good things about it 😄
I love this design! I really like to journal while I'm travelling but like you said, it's hard to take supplies with you so it doesn't usually look as aesthetic as I want lol. But it's nice to stick in tickets etc. I use pages from books that are old and falling apart and I've also used 2nd hand books to create art projects so I use any left over pages from that too ☺❤
Yay happy to hear that! I would love to try this sometime too if I’m on a longer trip. Using tickets etc can be a fun challenge as well and I think it fits well the traveling aesthetics haha! Thank you so much for the tip and lovely comment 🥰 will definitely see if I can find 2nd hand books somewhere close by!
Well that looked really good though obviously quite different from your art journals. Travel always interests me and it is nice to learn something of Finland through you. I have visited all the Scandinavian countries and now regret not going across the Gulf of Bothnia to Finland when I was in that part of the world. Maybe I’ll get the opportunity one day. Thanks. 👍🏾😀🦋Deb
Thank you so much Deb! Happy to hear you enjoyed the video and cool that you’ve been able to visit all the Scandinavian countries 🤩 I’ve only been in Sweden but would love to have a roadtrip to Norway someday! Hope you get to visit Finland too someday ☺️ I would recommend either summer or winter season, or early autumn if you like fall scenery!
Maybe your parents or grandparents have an old book nobody wants to read anymore? 😅 Or if you go to flee markets sometimes they don't wanna take their stuff back home and throw it out for free. After all you'll probably just need one book to harvest from 😄 And as always: love your journal! ❤️
Yes that’s a great idea! I’ll have to check the flee market next time that I go as then I wouldn’t have any kind of emotional attachment to the book 😂 thank you so much for the tip and happy to hear you like my journal! ❤️
My mom had an old book that was falling apart like pages are lose and she was going to just toss it and I was like I will take in. So now I have book pages for my journals.
Beautiful travel journal. I would love to see a journal of one of your longer trips.
Thank you so much! I will definitely make a video about that if I will go to a longer trip in the future ☺️
I love the stickers you have made.
Happy to hear that! 🤗
What a lovely video ❤❤❤
Thank you very much! ❤️

🦋 really enjoyed your video and thank you for sharing your memoirs. 🌸

Love that and it’s a good way to give the book a new life or purpose instead of throwing it away!

What was the name of the skillshare class you referenced in your video?
