    Way for faster reading -
    1. Pre read the main headings of chapter , it can be from a RUclips lecture
    2. Know important topics and skip non important topics
    3.Reduce subvocalisation ( means reading the book louder in mind than using the voice)
    4. Use fingertips for reading
    5. Using pomodoro technique (with full concentration)
    6. Set a goal about which topic to read at a particular session
    7. Having small break after each session (max. 15 mins)
    8. Have coffee
    9. After each break, just open index and try to answer the questions in index..
    (Hope it'll save ur time)

    Below are some of the points outlined in this video:
    PREPARATION
    1. Identify fundamental concepts/topics;
    2. Be familiar with these - start with easier concepts/topics first - read literature/watch lectures;
    3. Read 'review book' which are more concise/less convoluted.
    METHOD
    1. Stop subvocalisation (when reading silently, resist reading word for word);
    2. Use a guide (fingertips/pencil) when reading;
    3. Set goals (i.e., first focus time, I will read about X. Second focus time, I will read about Y.);
    4. Use a timer/Pomodoro, to countdown your focus sessions ("flow state". 45 - 90 minutes. Remove all distractions during this time;
    5. Optional - use caffeine to help you stay alert and stimulated.

    5. Reduce subvocalisation- stop saying wt u read in ur brain
    6. Fingertip method
    7. Challenge ur brain by slightly increasing speed
    8. Set goal for the study slot
    9. Remove all distractions in that study slot
    10. Conceptual understanding is the key for retention

    1-know what your subject/chapter is about. Build your basic foundation.
    2-get to know the hotspot (high weightage topic).
    3-divide your A4 sheet into 4 quadrants. X-axis-knew about it or not, y -axis-difficulty level.
    Start from easiest quadrant to highest
    4-watch lecture of that particular topic if u don't have any idea about it
    5-Reduce Subvocalization .
    6-use pointer. Speed of pointer should be such that your mind is not able to comprehend.
    7-set a goal with big timer
    8-use beverage
    9-line vs paragraph approach and line by line approach.
    10-study alone. Switch off all distraction
    11-take a break after a particular pomodoro.
    12-After break look at index of topic you read and question your self.

    Algorithm For Speed reading and retention.
    1. Get to know the subject and build up foundation - know important topics from senior/PYQ/from Internet - Give the topics a quadrent X asis(know to dont'know) and Y axis(difficult to easy) move from easy&know to know&difficut to easy&don'tknow to difficult&don't know.. And listen lecture before reading book so that book reading becomes easy.
    2.Reading faster - Reduce Subvocalisation(saying insight mind), use fingertip to read. what should be ideal speed?- just that you are not able to comprehend what I am reading.
    3. Set a Goal
    4. Set a promodoro. Fully go into focus zone. then after done take short break(don't use phone)
    5. Remove distraction(put the phone away), use a sheet of paper to count how many times you distracted(it works, you will see gradually your pogress)
    6. Follow PQ4R method to study(after 1 session ask question to myself and try to remember/solve questions from that portion). Use spaced repitition to remeber more( when doing spaced repetition, follow the active recall first then you revise, 2nd day- you can write summary of topics studied, 7th day- you teach/ say to a friend or if you don't get friend teach any object you like, later- you can do flowchart, mindmap without seeing,solve questions etc)
    7. Make very precious notes, flowchart, mindmap to revise fast and time to time.
    8. Work hard and play hard. fix a time to enjoy,play,hobby,relax whatever to be recharged. Do some meditation/lonely walk. these will help to destress & focus better.

    *Having proper clarity on what we going to prepare.
    *building up main foundation of topics
    *dividing them according to importence/ weight age
    *Hotspots of the chapters and Hotspots of the topics from every subject
    *Dividing according to difficulty u feel
    * First cover the easy topics then u will get sufficient motivation 💪
    *if u don't know any concepts in a proper manner don't go nascently into standard books instead prehittting those topic vedios which gives over view of concepts is best
    *Review books are far better and very very very important bcz they are balanced between contents and compression in a proper manner
    *Reduce subvocalization ,by this technique u can improve reading speed twice
    * use fingertips and follow constantly it can improve speed
    * Set a short goals and fix a dead line .
    * imagine that u have a exam date verry nearby .
    * Add coffee to ur daily routine
    *Diagrams and flowcharts helps u to understand clearly and remember perfectly and complete whole chapter in a short time
    * sit alone and prepare
    *Group discussion are worthy only when u have already completed ur preparation in a propermsnner manner
    *Take a short breaks after reaching ur short goals
    Don't watch any vedios from any mobile--- put ur mobile in refrigerator 😍
    *Through ur mobile as far as u can. Get urself away from distractions
    *ask urself questions from index thus u can get active recall
    *take tests regularly
    *Focus on importennt topics /Hotspots when time is short
    *internal motivation
    *Follow review books that gives u full brief revisions on most of topics 👏👏👏Thanks a lot bro

    I actually look you as my elder brother 😊
    Bhaiya I am going to appear for NEET UG 2023(1st attempt)
    I'm very uncertain about my selection for this time..." Is baar pata nahi hoga ki nahi hoga"
    like you have mentioned about a friend of yours who has studied from Kota in his drop year and later managed to get into AIIMS-N as your junior
    Can you plz make a video of his journey and also mention things like.....from which coaching he studied for his drop year...his time management...how important it is to join a good coaching..etc
    Please reply if you read this msg as your words have a huge impact on my thoughts

    I think pre heating the oven is not absolute or work for everyone....
    I believe its better to read 1st and then switch to lecture because.. once u had read, u gain a bit knowledge or may have understood the 80% of the chapter...and after reading the book switch to the lecture and at that point u will understand that what u have understood and what u have not.. and hopefully at that time the lecture or the vdo will help .. ( Opinion).
    . please dont mind :/
