I really hope they make a bw3 and give you a sandbox option to pick your faction and allies and conquer the map anyway you want. Kinda like a risk game that you're boots on the ground with if that makes sense
I don't really get why controlling enemy units in these games are so interesting, I absolutely love to do so but I don't get why. When I do, I have this feeling of awe, like what I'm doing is actually a dream, not necessarily a wonderful one but a really cool one, like something you always wanted to do while playing the game 'legally' but you accepted the fact that you won't ever be able to do so, and then one day, all of a sudden, you stumble across a youtube video showing that in fact you CAN do that. It's like a dream, I don't really know how to say it but yeah. The really funny part is that it doesn't really add anything to the game because enemy units are so many that it isn't even fun to play as them against what would normally be YOUR battalion but it still feels like it's someting wonderful to do.
+David Evans Well that would be a lot of work. It would be really cool to have a pc battalion wars though. Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure the devs don't even make pc games.
+The One Who Wrote This I'll make a spiritual successor to this game using Unreal Engine 4 and I promise I'll come back here and tell you all about it when it is playable.

To add to what I said at 5:00, the frontier also has a dreadnought. Also keep in mind there were multiple battleships and bombers.

ok I ment like maybe a PC mod? approved by the devs because its my favorite game.
Nintendo will likely never lend their IP to PC devs, but it would be nice if Kuju made an army game for PC.
