Love watching your comparison of the catalogs. When I see the old catalogs I get a bit of that nostalgia from vintage Pandora. I don’t know about Canada, but I remember back in the day the adds in magazines and TV were so glamorous. Everyone wanted a Pandora bracelet, the muranos selection was amazing and the colors stunning. I didn’t realize spacers are gone, gone, until you mentioned it. I don’t understand why Pandora think they are not relevant anymore. It is like the dangles has taken their place. Thanks for sharing and looking forward to watch Part II!

I never thought about dangles replacing spacers… I think dangles almost outnumber regular charms now 🤷♀️😝 Thank you for your comment!!

I got rid of all my duplicate catalogs 😣 I wish I had kept them and mailed to everyone asking where they can find older catalogs. I used to prefer the smaller catalogs too, do you remember those? They just had the pandora moments collection only

I truly enjoyed this! I didn't start collecting until 2016 and remember being shocked that there were so many real gemstones in years past. My daughter's school took a trip to Europe and my husband and I joined them. It was then that I learned everyone collected Pandora travel charms so I thought I'd do it too. Little did I know that Pandora would become a passion! My first store was in Switzerland and I asked the poor saleslady so many dumb questions that she told me as a new customer (I'm sure it was obvious), I'd get everything at 25% off. I learned later that that never happens in the US, lol. She was so nice telling me how to measure a bracelet and the charms I needed to fill it out. I'll never forget that. Anyway, I'd love to get my hands on some old clips and muranos. Although I've purchased a few oldies, I'm still a bit nervous about doing so.

I enjoyed reading your first experience with Pandora, the shopkeeper in Switzerland sounds like a wonderful lady to answer all your questions and give you a great discount too 🥰😁 The old clips and Muranos still exist in the preloved market. I recommend looking locally verses EBay or other second hand online sites. The chances of getting a fake charm is much less that way. I just found my gemstone Zinnia clips from a local woman that found her bracelet unworn for many years in her dresser and decided to sell it off. I was so happy as I’ve been waiting for those clips for a long time! Enjoy the hunt, I’m sure you will find the oldies you’re looking for 🤗😁

We have a second-hand shop here that sells awesome items very cheaply (name brand clothing, shoes, designer bags and best of all, Pandora bracelets (sometimes whole bracelets). I never bothered to look through them before, but I think that's about to change! Thanks so much for suggesting this!
Surprising how many bracelets that are still in your catalogue that are retired here. It's funny because I still love watching other people do catalogue walk throughs even though I have most of the same catalogues. Probably because other's countries are always a bit different to ours and thoughts are either shared or different. I am so devastated that they have stopped our catalogues. Hopefully people power will restart it again although I'll have a gap now like you guys did!! Do they want us to continue buying or not?? Looking at all those spaces, I could cry!! I wish I had so many more. Pandora doesn't seem to understand how valuable they are and honestly the amount of dangles there are now days is insane. We just need some well designed but simple no cz spaces. Look at the Pooh Bear and friends dangle's bale. What an incredible spacer that would make. I think they have come along way with their bracelet designs. But they are lacking with the spaces now. I look forward to Part 2. Thanks for sharing.
I’m a little confused too Leanne that some of these bracelet styles are still available in the catalog 🤷♀️ I hope there’s enough negative backlash and Pandora brings back the catalogs to Australia. I can understand reducing the amount printed… but to totally do away with them is so sad! Pandora has really changed direction with their designs, so many dangles now!!

Not everything that Pandora does now is appealing to me… but that’s ok as it leaves room in my budget for older charms or the Trollbeads I’ve started collecting.

Oh they have changed alright. So much that I buy very little of Pandora now. Their older designs with gemstones and two tones are way better!

I love looking at older catalogs but I only have the last three year.
