thank you thank you - the story telling coupled with awesome band members ; and this is where Jon's 'acting' career is, his passion when he delivers the words of the story. Just became a fan at 75, relaxing and enjoying their story. Was a Sinatra fan years ago - 2 true New Jersey boys I share his respect for the Chairman.
I was there. It was unquestionably the best performance I've ever seen the band give. I've seen them 11 times now and none of those other times has or will beat that September night at the Bowl 👌🏼 Thanks for uploading it.
What a lot of work you did! Thank you so very much for all your great work. I think back at how Bon Jovi fans back in the day had to wait for MTV performances or TV shows or have enough money to go to a concert but never had the digital means as we do nowadays to see all these great performances. I am a new Bon Jovi fan of all things involving Richie Sambora ( I was country music back during the 80s and 90s) but my sister was a big Bon Jovi fan during the 80s and 90s, but she has never seen many of these performances until now. We just had a Bon Jovi Watch Party and watched their older concerts and newer ones. It is great people like you who take the time to put these all together for everyone to enjoy. You are awesome! Thank you!
7:12 - Every day a man wakes up and every day a man tries to pour himself a cup of coffee and take a good long hard look in the mirror. And sometimes what he looks at he doesn't like and sometimes what he sees, it makes him angry and sometimes what he sees makes him sad. Sometimes what he sees is himself and that disappointment just gets into you and just rips at you, little by little, piece by piece. Sometimes you can just lay down, you can play the game, you can take the cards that they deal you, you can just pretend it's all over BUT NOT ME!!
@@goraceful 0:19 - Thank you! A couple of years ago we took a little bit of a break. We got off the road, we stopped making records. I think for a while we stopped living. What we had to do was run away from something we loved to see if we liked it anymore. And after living for, I guess, at the time, about seven, almost eight years out of the suitcase we had to go home and see what those four letters meant. When you sit by yourself and you gotta stare in that mirror you gotta see if what you did makes any sense to you. Because if you're not happy, you're in a hell of a lot going, you know. All the money in the world doesn't mean nothing, all the success in the world means even less. And so we all went our separate ways and we went to go and find something and I got on a motorcycle and I went out and I went to go see the country. What I found, I liked a lot. What I found, was a lot of, a lot of people who were searching for the same kinds of things I was, so it didn't get me down, but it sort of fueled the whole process. And if you let me, I'll take you on the back of my bike, take you to a place, the place is called DRY COUNTY!
That's really amazing! @hAnD90, U did an excelent job with this video ! 👍🎥🎬 Thank U! Dry County - one of my 'all time favorits'! To see, hear and fell this song live that was an epic experience!
One of the best songs ever🤘. Thank you so much for sharing this with us🙏. Love everything on it, the energy of the band... and Jon's empathy for the sacrificed workers ✊️
I've seen many performances of 'Dry County' and the best footage is at Wembley Stadium 1995 (it's the dailey motion one) in fact for me those 3 nights in London were their best. Richie Sambora was on fire. Great performances from Jon and the whole band. The sound is good on this footage, thanks for uploading it. Sad day when Richie Sambora 'just didnt show up for work anymore'!
There is always a “backstory” as Richie said in a radio interview a few years ago. He said it was made to seem like “bam” he just left. He said he wouldn’t talk about it. He has too much class. I choose to believe that he would not just ‘not show up” for work.
The intro and Jon's speech sounded familiar. They did put out this live version in a special edition single with 2 CDs: One CD had the studio edited version of Dry County and live versions of Stranger in this Town and Blood Money. The other disc was a gold CD with printed autographs of all the original band members. It had this live version of Dry County you have posted, a live Stones cover and an endearing version of Waltzing Matilda sung by Tico live. I still have it. Pretty cool!
When jon talks he makes do much sense no wonder he can write the best lyrics and his music can cross different generations always has and always will be my fav band
Uma das melhores performances! Ainda prefiro aquela de Wembley em 1995. Também gosto muito da performance em Cologne (1996), onde o Richie modificou os dois solos adicionando ainda mais notas, executando o solo mais insano possível, um momento de muita inspiração.
This is brilliant..excellent work my friend!! I managed to pick up a bootleg of this concert a long time ago,and my version didn't have Dry County on it,and have over the years found out, that there were different versions of that bootleg. Thankyou so much for this..i may have to do a drum cover, been wanting to do Dry County for a long time..this is the one i'll do!! Rock On mate!!
There are not different versions, they did two nights at Milton Keynes Bowl in 1993 and Night 1 was broadcasted by the BBC via radio, but Dry County was a B-side on the single and taken from Night 2 ;)
@@hAnD90 Thanks mate..thats explains why this sounded a little familiar with what Jon talks about..i have the Dry County single, and also explains the great quality of the sound on the bootleg i have of from Milton Keynes! Rock On mate!!
Wow amazing video, thank you very much. I don’t know if you take requests or even how the audio editing you do so well works but if you happen to take requests could you edit jon and Richies performance of “Let it be” by the beetles? It’s amazing but with edited in clapping and other noises you can’t hear lots of their singing
I know what you mean, I always cringe at them having added these applause pieces later on. If it had been broadcasted with 5.1 audio, chances might've been that it was on one channel that could've been isolated. But it's all in the stereo mix. However, I'll work a bit with it and if I find any way to make it more pleasant, I'll post an upgraded video here ;)
