Is $600 too much for the PS6 based off of everything mentioned in the video? What y'all think?
I don't think that Sony should go only with digital consoles. I truly think one should be able to choose what console one would like to have. I don't think l will get a ps6 if it's only digital consoles. I like disc drivers myself 😊
I also think $500.00 is a reasonable price and it should be compatible with the ps5. These games are not cheap 😮

@@ZenoSamaOmniKingYeah, sony is trying to be slick. I've been a huge fan for years. But, the stick drift is an issue that never needed to happen. Now you have to buy a $200 edge controller on top of the amount of money you already put into the system itself. That's a legal scam.

Honestly wishing for a console to stay at $500 price point is like wishing for current modern games to be selling for $50 or less. It's just not realistic to constantly be keeping at a $500 price point . Also $600 bucks in 2024 is laughably inexpensive compared to when the PS3 came out in 2006. Which actually was almost 20 yrs ago!

PS1 was considered cheap at $299 in 1995 (add inflation and it costs actually $620)
PS3 launch price considering inflation since 2006 is $934 today.
Many consoles of the past costed more that USD1000 if you consider inflation.

Of course! I would buy a PS6 if the console were digital. To buy a physical game online, I have to wait at least a week for it to arrive at my door. However, I still need to wait at least 6 hours or even several days to download one game because my average internet speed is only 2 Mbps.
I have single ps2 games worth more then a ps5. Physical games are just better

I wonder what the hook is going to be for PS6 since are hitting diminishing returns when it comes to graphics and performance. Especially since we are already getting the PS5 Pro.
PS5 Pro will have 120 fps 4k gaming. So what exactly will the PS6 offer over the PS5 Pro? Maybe Sony is going to focus more on new features like the adaptive triggers and things like that.
Sony will have a hard time selling PS6 if the only thing it offers over PS5 Pro is 8k resolution, literally nobody cares about 8k. Sony is going to need something new and innovative for the PS6.
What 600 isn't so much we need better specs that can push higher fps 650 or 700 good. We are now playing with PC players

It really doesn't though it's just minor upgrades. The Ps1 to ps2 was a major leap. All the way to PS3 to PS4 was a major leap in technology. The PS4 to PS5 is just minor upgrades. The PS5 is basically the pro plus of the PS4 and the PS5 pro will be the PS4 pro max. Tech in the console category is slowing down. Just like cell phones there is minor differences between the iPhone 13 to the 15 and we keep paying premium money for Minor upgrades
Actually Microsoft made a COD 10 year deal with Playstation so COD will be on Playstation till 2033
$600 is definitely too much for a console that’s still targeting 4k 60 and still not gonna deliver the promise on the original box. $500 should be the standard price for gaming consoles without graphics cards. And that’s the premium versions they wanna sell us.
They never PROMISED 4k plus 60 fps on games.

Yes. When you build the best PC, you won't touch new parts for at least 10 years, and 10 PC years are = to 3 generation of PS consoles 😀.
I plan to upgrade my PC in 2025 with the best of the best - I9 14900KF - or better if it's released, 64 ram 32x32 or better , RTX 4090 24GB video or better RTX 5090 if it released in 2025 So i can run everything until 2035 or 2037 😀
@@AC-97.. not a fan of That Intel. I think Ryzen 7 7700X3D is the best CPU for gaming. I don’t think the 5090 will come until next year, I think just get 4090 RTX, it won’t improve much on that anyway, it was already such a jump of everything else.

Technology is as far as cell phones and consoles or slowing. It's only minor upgrades anymore and we're paying premium prices for minor upgrades. We're getting excited for minor upgrades like come on now everyone's following the iPhone path charge premium prices for minor upgrades. There's no difference from the iPhone 13 to the iPhone 15. Just minor software. Nothing major and the same with consoles anymore. Just minor upgrades at premium prices and it won't stop until we stop giving them our money. There's no reason for a new phone or a new console every 7 years. As far as a phone, there's no reason for a new phone every year. It's ridiculous
Still cost you nothing, they sell these console at a loss. Put it this way, my gaming PC the graphics card alone, just the graphics card and nothing else (4080 RTX) cost £1,100. What they give vs the price is not a bad deal. The current PS5 the ray tracing is no good enough and it Struggling to live up to what console gamer want (PC level performance)

Probably not haha Blu rays dvds ect have all been discontinued where i live Best Buy, Target ect they no longer even sell them anymore movies have gone digital here so taking that into count I'd say no the future gen consoles will no longer have a disc drive

The PS5 generation in the Xbox generation was a failure and is a failure. We need to stop worrying about future or they'll never stop with the failure cuz this is going to be more of the same with the ps6 watch. We're going to have game issues and it's just going to be nothing but live free service games and we ain't going to own nothing. IF games Go Cheaper Digital and More wallet Friendly and im able to buy a choice of digital vs physical, digital vs a physical copy other than a hard back copy and accessories the game give me then yeah id Do Digital all day. If not then no Cause why am I Paying the same for a Deluxe copy of a game i cant physically cant touch or have in my hand that takes up material to make ? That's forever gone be stupid to me So like ill keep my Disc-drive. And just buy my physicall copies of my games besides either way you put it you still gotta download additional data when u buy the digital copy anyway
