My mum is a major control freak. I actually managed to get a job that let me move out - nowhere great, but better than being with her - and she kept calling the police and leaving leaving anonymous tips about people smoking weed in my apartment complex. She was - and to be clear she told me this to my face eventually - hoping they'd search the area and catch me doing something wrong eventually, so she could bail me out of jail and I'd feel I owed her one.
Lol I'm this video makes me so grateful for my parents, they're actually decent human beings and truly love me. If your parents are like any of these in the video, Im so sorry for you, just remember that your parents don't own you and you don't have an obligation to make them happy

You want an insane parent story? Here's one. Back when I(9) and my sister(8) were in primary school, we had assigments we hadn't done. We'd instead watched cartoons, messed around, did basically anything else as our mom(who, was a stay at home mom btw) said nothing all day. Then, as we were about to go to sleep, she asked us if we had done it, which, we said no to. She then proceeded to tell us we couldn't sleep until we did it. And so, me and my sister(both with undiagnosed ADHD) desperately tried to do our assigments while suffering from sleep deprivation as she slept. Why didn't we just sleep? Well, she was an emotional abuse kind of mom and we didn't feel like we could get awa with it. I think we finished/gave up at 3AM or something(we woke up at EIGHT AM), and collapsed onto our beds. Oh yeah, and also I'd like it if y'all said exactly how bad it is, because, uh, it seems kinda bad but not that big of a deal to me. I mean, looking objectively I can see how exactly it is fucked up, but a part of my brain just says "meh, that's normal, no biggie.", so anyone who didn't have a bipolar fucked up narcissist as a mother giving their perspective would help.
i have a nihilistic behavior this leads me to confrontational behavior look if parents like this are old enough for me to call an old hag i will if they act like this
One time my parents started calling me childish and immature while I was crying. They were trying to force me to tell them what was wrong when I didnt know and I just wanted to be left alone. We were going to Texas Roadhouse at the time and I thought I ruined everything because I started crying. Turns out I got overstimulated and had a meltdown, because my parents refused to turn off the music, and that with the sounds of the car moving was too much I guess. Not too bad but its still a bit bad.
No crazy parent story yet but I do remember being forced to, along with every other kid in school, walk in a big circle around the recess area like some cult in elementary school as a punishment and I don’t even know what we did
Most of my insane parent stories are depressing as fuck. I'm on bad terms with both of my folks, yet still living in their house because economy. My father, however, I was on better terms with until a few years ago. Imma go with this insane parent story because it's a little more funny/entertaining than the stuff my mother has done. My father wanted a specific shake from Arby's and asked me to go get it. Not a big deal except that said Arby's was two counties away. And there was a blizzard and ice on the road. I was initially reluctant but he "guaranteed" the road was safe and it was silly for me to worry about going out there. I asked him if he wanted to go with, he said no, that I could do it myself, my mother also said no, and seemed on the verge of screaming at everyone anyway, she usually is. I asked if I could take a stuffed toy for comfort, she let loose the torrent about how I was an adult and I was being incredibly immature by carrying around stupid stuffed animals. At least I would have something that I could hug if I went off the road and died in a ditch, lol. I would've felt a lot more love, lol. I drove out there, only car on the road sliding everywhere and nearly crashed a few times. Arby's was closed for inclement weather. When I got back and asked why the hell he thought the Arby's would be open. He said that he had tried to "impress" Ma, by reading the weather report in Spanish. He does not understand a word of Spanish. So from her perspective, he sat there and jankily said in a language he clearly didn't understand a word of, that there was a blizzard and dangerous road conditions, then grinned, content with his complete understanding, and announced that it was perfectly safe to send their 18 year old daughter out there to get a fucking shake. I did get an apology... "I'm sorry the Arby's was closed."
I was 12 back then, and I was a pretty good brother to my sister, 4. However, my sister was downright spoiled. One time, she was trying to cry on me for no reason while I was with her and the family eating dinner. My father, her lackey, yelled at me while I just sat down and gave him the Saitama look. My mom was looking over at us when I told my dad, "I am drinking my water and eating my food, I didn't do anything." in a rather calm tone. Then my mom walked over and told me that I was being rebellious. Over the next 4 years, things got pretty better. But that, was the dumbest statement I ever heard from my mom, the wise person in the house.
@@isnt_itkingstar It's all good!! An SSRI (Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors) is a class of drugs used for depression and anxiety I also take an NDRI (norepinephrine and dopamine reuptake inhibitor) for my adhd
I have ADHD and my way of organizing things seems very messy to other people including my mom and she will barge into my room at random and start "cleaning up" which includes throwing anything that's on the floor away (including money) and moving stuff without telling me where she put it, normally it's not that bad, just kinda annoying but one time she threw away $240 worth of my video games that i paid for.
I don't normally get crazy moments when it comes to my parents, but one that I can definitely think of off the top of my head is something that happened when I was little. Whenever a kid is introduced to something, they tend to either mock it, imitate it or even enforce it. Something like this is normal because this expresses how much they love it. For me however, it was imitating more than anything. This occurred whenever I was playing a Scooby Doo game on the very first Xbox ever made, and I love the monster's so much that I began to imitate them just for fun. As a child, I was just having fun, but my dad thought otherwise. He absolutely hated whenever I do this, to the point where he took the Xbox and the games away and hid from us for good.. As I got older, this habit grew scarece, but it was still there, but then the habit of playing a game for hours kicked in, that's where the "1 hour rule comes in". For those of you who don't know what that is, you basically only get an hour to play the game you chose before you had to get off for the rest of the day. This rule was dropped overtime since I was able to finish the game rather quickly, with my dad forming a whole new rule. If a game is super long, the 1 hour rule stays, but if it's a game that you could finish within that hour or less, he would do what I call a "Level a day rule". This rule is pathetic, who hops on a game just to play one level and then get off? It kills the experience and even kills your mood. I was so mad by these rules, so I ditched the shorter games for good and never played them again. I understand that there are rules like these to keep your eyes out of the screen and prevent things like eye strain, but these rules become punishments over time and make me real mad.. you've got to be sinister to not only kill the experience for the player, but to kill their personality as well and prevent them from living a happy and joyful life. 2023 is here now, and the original Xbox is back in my hands AND I can play for as long as I want without issue or being told otherwise.. these punishments and adjustments were stupid to begin with, when time eventually got told and became the best I could ask for. My childhood may be reunited, but as far as the terms of me and my dad.. not looking too hot right now..
I'm glad my dad isn't like that, quite the opposite actually. When I was around 4 years old my dad got a new game called need for speed hot pursuit and he loved it. One day I came across the game and i played it. My dad ended up walking in on me playing the game and he saw me enjoying it so he sat down with me and started showing me some tips and tricks that he learned. Thanks to him I'm really good at video games and I really enjoy playing them as playing video games reminds me of all the amazing times when me and my dad played games with each other.
@@Enea_28 yeah playing it brought back even more pleasant memories like when I kept on pulling over for the police because I'm a idiot and my dad told me "you know you can run from the police in video games you big goose" and that was when I learned how to not get busted
my step-mom took us with no parental rights, kept the money my grandma was donating to be able to take care of us, and spending it on her bio-daughter, my dad was always at the store or outside smoking and didnt realize that i was getting emotionally ridiculed to the point of anxiety and depression and getting bruised almost daily, being forced to sit in my room with no access and only eating PB&J for a month, being made to eat food made on a stove with *maggots* on it, fruit flies in the house everywhere. she hit my *cousin's POODLE* repeatedly with an extension cord, and a BUNCH of etc.
My dad started hitting on my facebook friends as soon as they came of legal age. It was so humiliating having your friends come, show the phone and say "uhhhh, is that your dad hitting on me?!". It was 10 years ago and he still think it's an ok behavior.
About a week ago I was in the car. I had my coat sitting under me because i wasnt cold. My dad noticed and went MAD: he was grasping at me, screaming, and making the entire car shake. Then, once we got home, he took everything out of my room and told me that i needed to earn it back. this was because of a literal freaking coat.
I have a better way. Let them keep their devices, but you can either take away the chargers or turn off the wifi (lets be honest, what 5 yo knows how to get wifi back?)
I once was talking to this person on RUclips who got mad because ppl were saying children need privacy, he came up with multiple stupid reasons why and basically would lock their child up or something like that. He then proceeded to write a gigantic paragraph for basically not letting a child have fun and see the real world. Yeah I just told them to see how much that would hurt a child.
The one about the kid and the cat sleeping on the recliner is sad. The parent is trying to show the grandparent a wholesome picture, and the grandparent is like "You have to get control of your kids".
personally i got parents that are dumb, mainly a mom. my mom acts cold to me, i literally have to tell her that i love her and hug her just to get any kind of affection from her. and she gets angry easily. one time she got mad and threw a hissy fit over something extremely petty, can't remember what it was. she claims to this day that she was just "copying me" but im not dumb enough to assume thats truth, considering she was literally pissed. its like "why do you do that you do?"
My aunt always did the reverse of the church one when she visited. She would loudly shout, "NO! I don't go to church, so NONE OF YOU CAN GO TO CHURCH!" ...Dad was the pastor, so this got pretty awkward.
These parents makes me grateful for having parents that I do right now, cuz if I had parents like these in the Reddit posts I don’t know if I would’ve been happy
I have a somewhat bad case of autism and loud noises screw with my brain to the point to where it can become hard to control myself and when my mum was screaming at me for having social media or something like that or maybe I did something poorly? The “why” is very fuzzy to me because all I remember is screaming for her to stop until my brain blacked out and I couldn’t hear anymore until she left. Her voice now is able to give me horrible nightmares but she’s trying to improve on our relationship now after I’ve been at my grandparents for awhile, which is it’s own story that would’ve fit here just fine and while it’s the right thing to do to try to improve your family relationships, I just feel hesitant and I don’t know if I want to go through with this rather than just live on my own in peace. Sometimes I wonder if I’m even capable of achieving such a feat anymore
8:24 Responding to this one. It is genuinely VERY dangerous to hand over personal information via chat. It's a modern technique by hackers to hack a (trusted?)" one's chat app and send a message like one of those. Not sure if this is explained good enough but over all, never share this kind of info (except when there's no other option) via chat.
My dad kicked open my door after I told him not to touch me (he always does these stupid "general purpose" spankings) and only apologized for "invading my personal place."
My parents are pretty chill but at the time I thought it was peak craziness: we were going to McDonald’s for my birthday and my dad once told me to put my feet in between the passenger and driver seats. When I did this he took my shoe and chucked it out the window. Turned out he was getting me some sick light-up ones for my birthday but not before making me go to McDonald’s and pretty much the rest of my day with one shoe.
Pretty crazy story that I've experienced. So I was 6yrs old at the time (which means windows 10 is pretty recent) and I have a Windows 10 laptop for school and gaming. At that age I've learned about LiEiNg! So whenever I did something wrong I'd say I didn't do it or I'd blame it on my brother on the most obvious situation. FIRST TWO LIES. T W O . And my dad destroys it, he realized that the computer was for school too, but now he doesn't have money to pay my friends back. I pretty much hate him for life now.
In response to that last 2nd I had an engineering teacher in high school who would like to post the assignments with zeros in them before they were due And my mom Went absolutely nuts when she saw my grades. Even when i explained what was going on she didn't believe me and took my game systems and said i wouldn't get them back till i graduated. I dragged her in to see my teacher to he could tell her the same thing and when he did all my mom could say was i refuse to back down. Best moment was when both my teacher and dad called her a bitch and dad got my systems back for me.
Seeing this so reminds me of my mother. Whenever she felt like it, she threw all my stuff in a closet or on the table onto my bed and made me throw to trash half of it...
I have many crazy parents story but I'll tell you the 2023 edition. Spent my New Years Eve alone even though I was at my parents to celebrate with them. They told me nothing and vanished to celebrate with friends. A minute into 2023 and I was already ugly crying. Also, no one wished me New Years. They went to picnic without me on the first. Because 'You wouldn't go even if we the told you to. Plus your exam is coming up.' 2nd January I was officially 'undiagnosed' by my parents because having stayed with my father for two months is enough to cure me. (Worst two months of my life) 3rd January I was beaten and locked in my study room because I didn't wake up on time. 4th January. A spark of determination and I finally got myself to take a shower. Told my mom I was going to a shower. She laughed and said 'Your husband will divorce you because you are so dirty'. She knows how sensitive I am to stuff regarding relationships. Today is 5th and nothing crazy yet. I hope today passes fine
Crazy parent story : i remember back when I was 10 years old i got hit by a car on my way back to school and when I called my dad to come pick me up because everything hurt he made me walk back home and was mad at me because he was in the middle of talking with his friend when I called him Fortunately though i was took to a hospital after my sister convinced him that i was legitimately hurt and it was nothing too major
8:07 is 9999iq because parents want control and it's pointless to argue with them. All you can do is these 3 things.1) Do what they tell you. 2) straight out lie and don't back out because it only increases your punishment.3) Put the blame on them, somehow, situations differ. An example of no.3 is at 10:34 where the MP could have gone to the church and put the blame on their mom or whoever they are saying that they forced the MP to go to the church.
this vid made me remember of that one time where my mom let me and my brother play on the phones, locked the door from the outside and went full alcoholic mode Returns a hour later with food plates and yells at us to OPEN the door (may I remind you she locked it from the outside and there arent any keys inside the room) and also starts cursing at us. I still havent talked to her about it despite it being 12 years since it happened and I dont think I ever will
I have a story which can't even compare to the ones mentioned in the vedio but I still want to share it. I (13yo male) am really good in studies. Always secured 1st rank but this semester I secured the 2nd rank with the difference between my percentage and the 1st rank holder's percentage being 0.01% (i. e. 1 mark). My parents told me that I was an disappointment and completely ignored me. Now all this pressure is on my younger brother (7yo) because they think I am now hopeless. I tried to reason with them that my mental health was not good the entire semester and my competitors only studied. All their assignments and projects and even copy work was done by their parents while I has to do all this and still study. I really gave it my all with sleeping only 2hrs a day during examination. Even though, my parents didn't listen and said to stop making excuses. I can feel my mental health deteriorating even more and ever so often i would have "those" thoughts but i cant talk about it with ny parents because they will just get mad. If you hadn't figured out by the above... I am an asian.
3:22 this "mommy moment" could start a chain of "sonny reactions" she won't forget. A friend of me had a similar situation (his mom smashed the PS3 for having a 3 in his math test while i Was over at his house, he bought it), he demanded a new PS4 as compensation(seeing he lost all saves/games on the smashed console the"upgrade" was his interest ) and until he gets a replacement he will destroy something of his mom daily, he pulled this through for 10 days until she replaced it(he has hidden the family heirloom jewelery an threatened they will disappear forever in 2 weeks, so 4 days before deadline ). He never stood up to his mother before, so the "quiet Kid" snapping was a sight to behold. I think this lesson in respect was long overdue.
Now I’m kinda worried, cause my parents did some of these things to me (mostly my mother tbh) and I thought it was just her caring for me. I have no idea how to feel abou this
I cant be more grateful than now because my parents are literally the best parents i've ever met, they let me play, they are proud of me trying my best on tests/exams, they care about me. It's just wonderful

the thumbnail reminds me of how my dad threatened to call the police because i was moving to another state with my mom (both me and my dad consented to this idk why he said he was gonna call the police when he was ok with it) (dont worry he didnt actually call the cops)
i have a story from a few days ago i was writing a letter to congratulate my friend because it was their birthday and i (who's in 8th grade) spelled a word wrong. my mom who always need to know everything i do read it saw the grammar mistake and started yelling at me for 10 minutes about how "i'm in 8th grade and should know how to spell things like this". i wasn't paying attention and i made a mistake. i kept telling her that but she wouldn't listen.
My sister was crying and I was drawing while going on a trip (it’s five hours both ways) and my dad said stop and grabbed my $50 dollar book and threw it out the window and we came back a week later and he said he got it but it rained so it was destroyed and he didn’t buy me a new one:)
bruh my parents belive that i can only have a certain hourly quota of fun with haning out with friends, playing video games etc, and i'm only allowed three hours a week

One time I said my mom asked me if I wanted to go Walmart with her and I said no. She then proceeded to do 10 consecutive backflips (one of which was over my head), karate-chopped my back, kicked me to the floor, and then told me not to talk back to her. 100% real trust me
one of the dumbest things that my parents did was breaking my switch lol. last year my school had like 2 sports day things where you just sit under a tent all day and get sunburnt in the australian summer heat. im in the red team and our tent is the hottest btw. i went to the first one and i hated it so i asked my dad if i could skip the second. (i was not participating in anything beacuse i hate sports). he said "i'll think about it 🥺🥺". the next morning i asked if i could stay home and he got so mad. he refused to belive that there was 2 sports days and thought i was trying to skip school. he didnt remember me asking him the day before. in the end he grabbed my switch (it was a switch lite so it was very fragile) and took the protective case off and threw it at the wall. twice. it smashed and it was really sad. he bought a replacement a couple of weeks after but wouldnt let me have it until i earned it (which is understandable ig). i only got it at christmas. i had to wait 10 months to get it back. then i had to restart my 1000+ hour animal crossing island, and i also had to restart splatoon. lol.
These videos always remind me of moments like the time my mom screamed at the top of her lungs and threatened to destroy everything I own bc I spoke up about my brother stealing my card and using it to buy hundreds of dollars of stuff on Amazon without asking. That was one of her tamer moments 😅
@PumpkinSpiceArt because I was speaking out against my "golden child" brother who DEFINITELY does nothing wrong ever, and she's very protective over him
My mom was/is a drug addict. She made me go without many things in order to financially support her addiction to several drugs. This includes an oven or refrigerator (just food in general I always had to find myself) running water, heat, a box-spring or frame for my mattress on the floor, new clothes (I was in high school wearing clothes from intermediate school but I was skin and bones so I fit in them), among several other things. The story about the kid having to suddenly stop their SSRIs hit personal. My mom did the same thing to me except she never told me why, it was just end of. I can guess she needed the money for drugs- one bottle was like $130 without insurance. Either way I have never felt so sick in my entire life than when I stopped taking SSRIs, I can only compare it to how my mom described drug withdrawals. If antidepressants make me feel like that I’ll NEVER touch drugs.
3:43 either way it’s a lose lose situation for her. If she did buy it for them then she just wasted her own money. Or if the kid bought it then she’s going to be wondering why her kid doesn’t speak to her once they move out
Some parents are awesome, some parents are boring, some parents are strict, some parents are chill, some parents are abusive, but a parent who does these things are straight-up stupid.
Reminds me of my family. I worked 4-midnight and my dad would expect me to swing by the house before I drug my tired self back home to my wife and newborn. We moved towns and they refused to visit but expected us there multiple times a week (good hour of driving one way for a baby) and call every few hours. When I would text and send pictures about/with our kid he wouldn't respond. When he did text it was "look how much money I just won!" It was very weird growing up to Narcissists who felt they were entitled to everything but their house is always hoarded. Boomer generation is so broken.

Man ;-;
"im sorry the arbys was closed" 💀💀💀
fakest ahh apology
You gotta get out of your parents house
Wow that's fucked up
I was 12 back then, and I was a pretty good brother to my sister, 4.
If my mom told me to stop taking my SSRI's i would genuinely try to take it to the courts if possible. That is genuinely so gross

One time I said my mom asked me if I wanted to go Walmart with her and I said no. She then proceeded to do 10 consecutive backflips (one of which was over my head), karate-chopped my back, kicked me to the floor, and then told me not to talk back to her. 100% real trust me
she also used mind control to destroy my ps5 and blg to the nearest adoption center
Have her arrested

My mom doesn’t see me as property, but she says unless i’m getting dressed, i don’t get privacy :(
My mom took away my door after I slammed it one time (on accident the wind slammed it)
💀
Thank god my parents were decent human beings with a working brain and heart.
one of the dumbest things that my parents did was breaking my switch lol. last year my school had like 2 sports day things where you just sit under a tent all day and get sunburnt in the australian summer heat. im in the red team and our tent is the hottest btw. i went to the first one and i hated it so i asked my dad if i could skip the second. (i was not participating in anything beacuse i hate sports). he said "i'll think about it 🥺🥺". the next morning i asked if i could stay home and he got so mad. he refused to belive that there was 2 sports days and thought i was trying to skip school. he didnt remember me asking him the day before. in the end he grabbed my switch (it was a switch lite so it was very fragile) and took the protective case off and threw it at the wall. twice. it smashed and it was really sad. he bought a replacement a couple of weeks after but wouldnt let me have it until i earned it (which is understandable ig). i only got it at christmas. i had to wait 10 months to get it back. then i had to restart my 1000+ hour animal crossing island, and i also had to restart splatoon. lol.
Ppl with anger issues that can't control them should be sterilized
wow, this makes me feel soooo lucky for my parents... I feel really bad for people with these immature brats for parents...
I love your channel. It’s just hilarious!
What’s wrong with you
@@patrick8330?
That kid who was sideways, he was the wrong way, isn’t it supposed to be the other way?
These videos always remind me of moments like the time my mom screamed at the top of her lungs and threatened to destroy everything I own bc I spoke up about my brother stealing my card and using it to buy hundreds of dollars of stuff on Amazon without asking.
That was one of her tamer moments 😅
WTF??!!
how are these people real and not aliens that have colonized us
Why was she even mad at you specifically??
@PumpkinSpiceArt because I was speaking out against my "golden child" brother who DEFINITELY does nothing wrong ever, and she's very protective over him
YOU SHOULD WORSHIP HIM! (don't actually)
Yay
3:43 either way it’s a lose lose situation for her. If she did buy it for them then she just wasted her own money. Or if the kid bought it then she’s going to be wondering why her kid doesn’t speak to her once they move out

The Waffle House has found it's new host.

When he did text it was "look how much money I just won!"
It was very weird growing up to Narcissists who felt they were entitled to everything but their house is always hoarded. Boomer generation is so broken.
