Punch really needs a Turbo Charged Engine. Everything else seems ok for the price. I wish Infotainment System could be better though.

अगर पहाड़ों की बात करू तो गाड़ी चलने मे कोई दिक्कत नही है। मैं 5 पसेन्जर ले के पिथौरागढ से मुन्सियारी कई बार गया हू। कोई दिक्कत नही हुई और कई बड़ी इंजन वाली गाड़ियों को ओवरटेक भी किया है। और अपनी बात करू तो मुझे silent माहौल पसंद ही नही है। Bike मे भी silencer modify लगवाया है गाड़ी अच्छी है लेकिन रॉकेट नही है।❤और रॉकेट तो पहाड़ों मै कोई भी गाड़ी नही है। हा डा्इवर चाहे तो बना सकता है😂

Ravi Sir, I own a Punch creative SR DT MT. Fully loaded Gaari hai. Highway mein tank to tank 21 mila hai mujhe. In city traffic, office le jaata hu 2nd aur 3rd gear mein hi chalta hu. To usme 12-13 kmpl fuel average milta hai.
Maine exter ka test drive liya, some points i want to highlight.
1. Exter ka looks, bohut chhota laagta hai
2. Dashboard v bohut chhota feel hota hai, feels like a car, not an SUV. FEELS like bola maine😊
3. Back seat cushion is not that great, headrest fixed milte hai.
4. Over bad roads, gaari mujhe thora unsettling laaga. May be because of soft suspension.
5. No arm rest even in the top variant.
6. Power does not feel that great ki aapko wow laage as compared to Punch, thora silent hai but power nahi hai.
7. The car is very narrow. Mai aapna punch mein small distance 4 log picche bithaaake v chala hu, but in exter 3 people at the back is very tight.
8. Punch ka steering mujhe thora better confidence inspiring laaga. Movements are very sharp.
Maine isse pehle own kiya tha Safari, Safari storme, fiat punto, ecosport. Punch is my first new car. To due to budget mujhe niche ki segment mein jaana padha. But i am happy with the performance and the car. City mein to i literally zoom pass other cars, may be its because of my driving experience but no complaints. That readily available power may not be always there, but you can work the gear and get the maximum output from the car, feels very peppy in traffic.

@@arazro comfort of the seats are very good. But space is not much. The cushioning of the seats and the under thigh support, everything is very good. But space is a bit dearer and 2 men sitting with a child will be a comfortable burgain.

Punch needs a turbo charged engine for more punch. Hyundai is way better when it comes to engine refinement as it's a four cylinder one. Besides that fit and finish of Hyundai's is better comparatively.

Gives Confident and stability at higher speeds too 150 kmph
Highest Highway mileage recorded 26.3 with trip of 250 kms
Ground clearance is awesome done baralacha pass with no issue at all

Agar ground clearance aur safety priority hai, Tiago NRG best option hai. But agar suv wali look chahiye toh Punch.
Hyundai ka engine refinement Tata se bohot aage hai, but safety nahi hai.
Overall as a first time buyer, single zyada chalana hai, neither qualifies.
Best option will be Tiago NRG. NRG gives you safety, not the best but decent engine performance, great mileage, excellent ride quality with excellent ground clearance.
How is road visibility in NRG ? As road visibility is poor in Tiago.
@@ndhanta i wouldn't say its poor. The visibility is decent. However, it will feel inadequate at times against led. I upgraded mine to led and it has improved the visibility.
Punch design is good and appealing despite it is already 3 years old.

I have a Punch AMT, phase 2 top variant. Also I have Vento TDI DSG. I use both car alternately. Even after driving DSG, I can say AMT of Punch is very livable. It has two modes, City and ECO which comes handy in congested city traffic, where in eco, the response in 1st and 2nd gear become much linear. Overall, I am very happy with Punch. It's suspension is stiffer than my liking though.

TATA knows its customers very well and their preference of "Looks, Features and Safety" over "Performance and Reliability".
TATA is certainly going to make more profit in the coming years with existing strategies.
What performance do we want, and how do we say that Tata is not reliable?
Performance for city and long-distance travel as a family car is enough for a family, and they don't need a sports car kind of performance.
And also, everything is reliable if taken care of properly from time to time.
@@nikhilPUD01 May be not everyone is comfortable in buying an unrefined, poor, vibrating, noisy 1.2L 3-Cylinder Petrol engine offered in Tiago, Tigor, Punch & Nexon.
Of course, it's your money. You may buy a Safari with 800cc engine as it will also run fine but not as a sports car but that isn't the requirement anyway.
Tata 1.2L 3-cyl engine is equivalent to Rajdoot motorcycle. Even Rajdoot lasts for years while it is far more reliable than Tata.
Especially in costly cars like Punch and Nexon, that engine doesn't justify the price tag. (Nexon ICE goes upto 18.60L on-road in Delhi)
Apart from really good safety rating and looks, Tata has nothing good to offer.
Also, Tata EV segment is doing good as there aren't major competitors in the country yet.
As far as reliability is concerned, All Harrier/Safari have cabin design and quality issues while electronics malfunction way too often.
Tata/Mahindra end up at service centres far too frequently than any other brand.

It seems the problem with Hyundai Exter is lower approach angle and that's the reason I'm now not going to purchase it. Where I leave, even Highways become off raods in monsoon season, so Exter is a big no!!

I drove both and both. Engine in exter is wayy betr than punch. But the SUVish feeling of punch is the main reason of its success. I bought accomplished model of punch. Only dwonside of this is lack of power.
We own Exter from 5 months , it's looks us better than Punch, it's my opinion though. But recently I am also facing the same issue that sometimes from 2nd to 3rd gear the gear gets stucked and makes noise, and same happens with the driver who drives my car

Air bag is important but body is also important. Body build of TATA is far better than Hyundai.
I had driven a tata punch bs6 maunal almost 10000kms the car is very easy to drive in the city, highway, little bit off road..
Pros:- build is superb, according to micro suv cabin space is good, ac is more effective, mileage is quite good I have max achieved 22kmph on mid on highway and in city 11 to 12km per litre, ride quality is good on highway feels more confidence, visibility is good in this segment. Seats are comfortable feels good on long journeys.
Cons:- engine performance is very low grade, even if you drove on 3rd gear if your speed is 15 to 20kmph the engine is used to struggle, very lethargic feel of the engine, initial punch is missing if I compare to hyundai 1200 cc engines, vibrations on gear knob, steering wheel, floor I can feel the vibrations, rear door is too light weighted. Overall not a refined engine. When you shift 1st to 2nd gear then it's very hard and stiff although also in 2nd to 3rd, reverse gear also slips many times not properly enganged.
That's all from my side after driving this mini harrier almost 10000kms.
