As a photographer dj, Zoom is a bit different from a 300mm telephoto lense. You may have 10x zoom but as you zoom its becoming more fuzzy. With a 300mm its more like a telescope so youll get closer while keeping the clarity. Canon has a great "rebel t6 and rebel t7" kit right now with a 18-55mm lense and a 300mm lense.

There's a reset button that can be used before sale to put it back to zero 😮 I've seen cars used to drive around compounds by staff with 50/60 miles and reset to zero during PDI .
Remember that airplane that went missing ......onboard were 5 scientists who were the owners of a semi conductor (which this company has) .....after the plane went missing the patent reverted to the sole survivor .....a huge banker whose name begins with R!!
Hey DJ, Just wanted to drop you some info regarding your talk with the photographer :) So when it comes to cameras, zoom levels when stated like 16X 20X 24X are marketing terms and dont give accurate information regarding to zoom level. smaller, compact all in one cameras with a fixed lens will have these marketing terms written on them and what they mean is that the cameras max zoom focal length is as an example 24x the minimum focal length. So what that means is that if your camera films at 10mm at its widest then it will zoom in to 240mm at its most zoomed in. of course a camera with 15mm, 20mm, 35mm etc... will all be different for 24X. The problem with this sort of marketing is that usually cameras wont differentiate between what amount of that 24X is optical and what amount is digital zoom. Optical zoom means using the lens to zoom in by shifting the glass, this process retains image quality at zoomed levels as you are using the same amount of pixels for a zoomed in image. Digital zoom instead stretches the image to appear more zoomed in but its actually making as an example, 480P fit on to a 1080P canvas, so you lose a lot of detail and quality. Interchangeable lens cameras such as DSLRs and Mirrorless only measure in MM, never ##X as these lenses only use optical zoom and photographers who buy them need to know exactly how that lens will perform. Is it possible to use digital zoom on a camera like this? yes and no, you cant do it directly on the camera, but in editing software such as premiere pro and sony vegas, you can stretch the image which will give you more zoom and be exactly the same as digital zoom on a compact camera. So there you are, the more you know. This is why the photographer looked quite puzzled and confused when you asked what ##X their camera zoomed too. It was a question which to a photographer makes no sense at all for the reasons above :) Anyway, keep up the good videos and stay safe out there :D

Here's a fun little story My neighbour was evicted and the house was empty while the council were doing it up. Every night for about a week at around midnight someone with a phone torch was coming uptocthe windows of this empty house and looking through into it. We reported it over and over and got nothing. No respeonce, nobody came out. Nothing at all. One day a PCSO came to our door and told us this story about how it's someone who's had their phone stolen and apparently it tracks back to this empty house. Forward another week the new tenants move in... and it's the guy who's been coming at night looking through the windows. He was waiting for the council to finish decorating to move in and was just checking the progress after his late shift in the evenings. He had no clue what this pcso was on about, he hadn't spoken to anyone at all. So we report someone trying to break in every night for a week, no one turns up. But a week later a PCSO will turn up and out right LIE to us to stop us from repeat calling? But a buisness calls for a non crime and boom, here's this idiot.
Yes but your camera is nowhere close to the quality that a proper prime 400mm lens gives. There is no substitute for quality glass. But there again for what you do you dont need it.

Put another 000000000 and you have a very good idea of why he is such a Lard Arse. + his priority is obviously stuffing food into his vast body before any any other area that may need his attention. Good work as usual DJ.

Best comment so far. 😂

DJ didn't like that did he he nearly broke down into tears 😭
I still wouldn’t have told him about Leicester mate gave him to much info
Air to air missiles have a self destruct mechanism to detonate the warhead if they lose the target or fail to detonate. This makes sure the missile does not hit something else or the technology falls into enemy hands. They make the unit that signals the warhead to detonate and if it doesn’t destroys sensitive components.
Thanks. That makes sense 👍

So many companies doing very similar business on this industrial estate. 👍

My god when is this going to stop
There are criminals, drugs and assaults everywhere and this fool turns up to ask your name
The police service is a complete failure, give me your name
I need to do checks
DJ - if you look your IMI Summerfield audit in Kidderminster from a couple of months ago you'll see the similar testing "blockhouses".
If they ask you for your name ask them for their address. They'll get the idea.
A US auditor does this. He calls it swapping details, the police have to go first of course.

As a photographer dj,
Zoom is a bit different from a 300mm telephoto lense.
You may have 10x zoom but as you zoom its becoming more fuzzy.
With a 300mm its more like a telescope so youll get closer while keeping the clarity.
Canon has a great
"rebel t6 and rebel t7" kit right now with a 18-55mm lense and a 300mm lense.
Thanks mate. I have a lot to learn!
@@DJAUDITS as do we all!
I know they have polarizing lenses for cameras.
Those may be of interest to you for the ability to remove window glare 😉
Perhaps one for your handheld camera! If it's something they make.
@@JGmedia18 correct, but I didn't know which handheld camera dj used.

Great handheld btw dj, most use digital zoom, which, as this person stated is different from optical zoom.

10:54 I was given a brand new company car recently. It only had about 4 miles on the clock but it had massive muddy footprints on the little platform where the door opens. Now I know why!
I used to work in a place like that your car had more the 4 miles on it but once its not gone over a set number of miles say 70 miles .it can be reset once before been sold .. I've seen cars used to drive staff around picking up other cars to and have 60 miles on the clock ⏰️ but reset to zero when it's sold 😮 all cars with driving around car parks onto ships car transports and around carpark plus PDI driving test all cars have at least 20 miles . There's a reset button that can be used before sale to put it back to zero 😮 I've seen cars used to drive around compounds by staff with 50/60 miles and reset to zero during PDI .
Content keeps evolving, best all round audits bar none.
I loved it when DJ pushed plod to ask the question properly.
I take it if I was to ask for your name..... You take what? 🤣👌💯
Remember that airplane that went missing ......onboard were 5 scientists who were the owners of a semi conductor (which this company has) .....after the plane went missing the patent reverted to the sole survivor .....a huge banker whose name begins with R!!
Great job again dj.... loving this one. 👍
Hey DJ,
Just wanted to drop you some info regarding your talk with the photographer :)
So when it comes to cameras, zoom levels when stated like 16X 20X 24X are marketing terms and dont give accurate information regarding to zoom level.
smaller, compact all in one cameras with a fixed lens will have these marketing terms written on them and what they mean is that the cameras max zoom focal length is as an example 24x the minimum focal length.
It was a question which to a photographer makes no sense at all for the reasons above :)
Anyway, keep up the good videos and stay safe out there :D
Never known a cop to insist on an answer like that, oh well still the video was a blast (pun intended), and a bonus unsigned building to boot. Who knows maybe they would have sent an inter continental ballistic missile to stop you flying your drone. Great Vid. 👍👍👍
Interesting video DJ, enjoyed that and once I saw those thick concrete walls around that sub station could tell it was a testing facility. Probably been protests there, hence why the sign came down .....
Enjoyed this one as your calm demeanor always tickles me when tbe cops arrive. To be fair to the cop he's sent on a call and has to make sense of it so naturally names are always wanted...regardless of whether a crime has been committed. Shame the cop even has to make the visit when real crime is probably happening elsewhere.
They refuse to follow up on real crime if they possibly can. Too dangerous. They rather abuse friendly people
"Can i have your details Sir"?.." Is that an order or request"? Could be useful with pedantic cops next time.Great vid as always DJ.
Brilliant bit of investigative work, dj.
Why did he want your name? Does he not like his own?
Porker: “Would you give me your name?”
Lawful Human: “Why? Haven’t you got one?”
Language is important.

That’s the right answer 😂for me too I just smiled 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
its like the gestapo, if any ordinary person gets burgled or attacked the police don't want to know, a company rings and they are there like a shot, proving the police are there for corporations and not the public.
That went ok I began to worry at one point 😂👍😉💥👍🏽
Here's a fun little story
My neighbour was evicted and the house was empty while the council were doing it up.
Just imagine "realistically" how expensive and ultimately how pointless it would be to try and elicit the details of "everyone":who wanted 2 take a photograph!!!
These police constables will try anything to make it look like you are refusing to give detailsdetails. I would have just not spoken to him when he asked again
Interesting that they have the wash bays, but do they have oiled separated drainage?
I thought those two L shaped walls resembled blast walls
So no crime had happened but for some reason some one has called the police that take reports of crime only and if no crime is committed then no police should have been deployed
Coppers are their verbal gymnastics, trying to stay just inside the law. Exhausting.....
“What’s inside?……………. Ahhhh nice”
Loving the sarcasm, pretending you saw something as he closed the door in your face, I would have done the same 😁😂😂😂
The tit with a sandwich was constantly eating, there isnt a bit of footage without him stuffing food into his trap. This will be here for eternity and seen by many. What a legacy to leave behind.
Now we know who ate all the pies
Hey, you don't get that fat without serious dedication. I should know!
Sounded a bit short of breath judging by his one word type conversational abilities...😅
Greggs are happy with the free advertising 😂
The sandwich eating bloke at the door woulda made a good prison screw, badger culler or Indeed an employee of a reputable Vehicle Clamping firm. His possibilities are endless.
Nice one DJ. All made sense as the video went on. Those blast walls outside were a dead giveaway about the explosives involvement 👍🏼😊
No wonder lots of criminals get away, because they waste so much time on things like this. It should have only taken the office 5 seconds at most to realise nothing was wrong.
Someone with a grain of sense would of realised that, but we are talking about Plod here!!. If they think there is a chance to bully & throw their weight about they are in!!. Disgraceful bunch of muppets!!
a few months ago My neighbour knocked on my door and told me to go look outside and look at my car......Some idiot went into the back of my car causing damage and left his car touching mine and walked off, I phoned the police and they weren't interested didn't even give me a crime number....I was told go knocking on peoples doors to find him and exchange insurance details.... I live in block of flats and missed him coming back and he drove off without leaving his details. Surly this should had been a police matter ?
Excellent audit, what more can I say...well, I loved the "-you must be joking" when asked about name! 😀

Probably, because E2V (the old company on that site that was acquired by Teledyne) manufactured imaging sensors, camera solutions, components and sub-systems for aerospace, space, defense, healthcare and communications.

Sometimes I think people like this are looking for a fight... Common sense had left the building.... If somebody was at your house filming and taking pics you would ask why... But when you give attitude it automatically makes people angry.... So you basically causing the argument
The guy in the beard is rude and disrespectful. The police was rude and disrespectful. The rest were very nice.
My first thought about the 2 walls were blast protection hence the offset. The one thing that did puzzle though was why only 2 sides unless its to protect the box from a blast from the building.
24.33 it says area free from explosives 😁
Wow. That cop was really butt hurt because you didn't give him his ID fix for the day.
He wanted you to say No because they can then log it as a refusal and enter you on an intelligence data base. You need to be careful as this is logged against your passport. You can do a freedom of information request and have it removed because there was no good reason for requesting it.
