In the scripten scene, where the drowned girl/siren pulls the boy down to the depths, you can see how he is 'plugged' into something, and although it doesn't become immediately obvious, the next time that the boy interacts with the 'puppet humans', he no longer needs to wear any helmet devices (please correct me if I'm wrong here) for them to follow, and obey his commands (aside from the fact, that he can now breathe under water that is). Finally, in the area at 1:37:46, the gallery that the blob crashes into, mirrors the final scene of the blobs 'escape', hinting at the fact, that its 'release' has been foresaw exactly to the letter. Even the fact that the observation lab personel actively assists the blob supports this. When they gather at the observation area of the blob, its because they know it is highly intelligent and self-aware to the point they've anticipated all the events, following the boy's assimilation, making this a self-contained story (with the exception of the boy's innitial journey, and his attempts at "disconnecting" the various hidden devices along the way). I like the overall ambiguity and the 'show-don't tell' approach very much, leaving a vast room for interpretations and assumptions. The levels, their atmosphere, and the sound design, ranging from a sublime and calming tones, to suffocating (no pun intended) and agoraphobic droning, is breathtakingly mesmerizing.
Yeah, but the ending made absolutely no sense at all, nor did that supposed "secret ending" BS that made it even dumber. A good game, but terrible story telling in-game. Even your theory doesn't tell much of the who, where and why...Who is this kid? Why is he running away, or TO? Where is he actually trying to run to? The secret ending does not even hint to anything, nor those stupid orbs you find to unlock the stupid secret ending that made as much sense as wiping before taking a dump.
you can actually hear the atmosphere changing due to the shockwaves towards the end of the underground chapter. if you listen to the wind you can hear it rise and fall in time to the shockwave, like breathing.
Man the saddest part is how short the game was. ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT THE WAY THE CREATORS MADE THIS. I wish it was so much longer man. U continued to want to know what was next. So simple yet complicated. I've never played a game quite like it. Wish I had something similar cuz now I'm at a loss lol. THIS is my perfect type of game. Puzzles, suspense, walk through side scroll type and simple buttons lol. WISH my bro was here to watch me play this, he would of loved it too. R.i.p Pablito.

This game was the best! 1:31:40 is my favorite part of the game because I love how it is trying to tells us that we have to go in the containment and destroy the facility that is practically using humans and trying to make a experiment about a blob that is trying to get out. First it looks like a truck has loaded a bunch of weird stuff inside it then we see 2 men in black that look like guards talking about something or plan. Then we go through the ocean and get chased by a dog that is trying to kill the little kid. Then we get chased by 3 or 4 men. One in a truck and one running to get me. At the end of this game it appears that we have got killed from running too fast. Truly the best game ever. I hope they make a part 2 since this is not enough gameplay for a amazing game like this.will have. The game looks like we saw a weird cliff from our house and jumped leading us to a weird factory that is controlled by the government trying to keep it a serect from people so that no will know…
In the light of recent events, I feel like INSIDE was prophetic. Turns out that the game was an allegory for power, control and social parasitism, like no game has ever been successful at. One can only wonder whether or not Arnt Jensen is a wizard, haha.
Das Rätsel mit der "19" hab ich in etwa einer halben Stunde hinbekommen, war bisher die beste Erfahrung an diesem Game. Weswegen ich herkam: brauchte eine kleine Hilfestellung, weil ich partout net auf die Idee kam, wie man die kleine liftkiste am Anfang des Waldes in Gang kriegt, gedrückt gezogen geklettert hin und her. Auf die Idee zu kommen, darauf und dann von oben zu ziehen, fail 😂 göttliches Game, zocke es auf PS5, gibt's ja noch wenige tage für wenig Euros im PS Store. Zusammen mit limbo ein Vorweihnachtsgeschenk 🥰
i was playing this game in my high schooler. it's pretty fun but i decided to stop playing because i must set it (& my TV too) into "high contrast" set up and it's going to burn my eyes. unfortunately i'm not finished the game but yeah, such a nostalgic NB: sorry for my bad english

Backstory? Hmmm, not really? There isn’t much of one. You’re just sort of tossed into this world trying to escape these people who are after you. I think part of the fun is playing the game and learning what the heck is going on? Don’t watch this and ruin it for yourself. It’s so fun and creepy!
