I store all my clothing in an Our Generation closet - it doesn’t completely solve the wrinkle problem but it keeps everything pretty organized and accessible! I’m starting to outgrow it though finally so now I’m on the lookout for other storage solutions as well😅
I think you did a great job packing everything up. I store my AG sets together with their accessories in large plastic storage bags as well and shrink them. Some of my newer items I have kept in the boxes but I am not moving. I have divided my clothes into three categories, AG, MapleLea and off brand. I keep my small plastic bags of outfits in the large AG shopping bags. I would love an AG doll trunk!
@@CherishedDollFriends that sounds like a really smart system, thank you for sharing!! I want the doll trunks so much as well. Collecting the trunks is going into my 2025 travel goals!
This was really fun to watch and see how you packed everything up. I moved about 8 years ago but only had 3 AG dolls at the time and not many clothes or furniture pieces. My collection has definitely gotten bigger since then, so if/when I move in the future I will definitely refer back to this video. I also loved seeing your collection in this video! I’ve been more interested in the historical dolls this year, so it was really awesome to see all your outfits 😊
@@LissyAG12 it was definitely a bit overwhelming to think about moving it all, and breaking it up across 3 weeks was truly a lifesaver! & thank you so much for your positive feedback- I appreciate it 💕
I have two trunks (Samantha's and an off-brand) and plastic storage drawers. I hang Samantha's outfits in her trunk and keep all her accessories in there. I keep Kirsten's outfits and hats/shoes and some of Claudie's clothes in the other trunk. For the rest of the dolls, I try to keep outfits together in baggies inside the storage drawers. Accessories are either in the trunks or kept in their boxes. I do not have as many accessories, and don't plan to get too many more. (I think!) It's definitely a process making sure everything stays organized with multiple dolls! And, I keep my AG Store bags too. They are so nice! I hope your move has gone smoothly and I look forward to the unboxing!
@@ParkingtonPlace that sounds like a really good process! Those trunks seem to really come in handy- I'm going to be prioritizing adding some to my collection next year! Thanks for the hot tips!! 💕
11:56 in the video you say you want a closet for you doll clothes. I recently got Mollys "Mirrored Chifforobe", which is really nice at storing her clothes and accessories.
@@2catsandaFifi I definitely want to collect some of the trunks and wardrobes! The issue is of course space 😭 I live in a 1 bedroom apartment with very little storage. I'm hoping to get a few in the next year though!

Some of my UFDC friends use baby diapers to cover the heads of their antique dolls. It is very protective/effective.

only issue is it can only hold about 7ish hangers.
