Very much this, puzzles began as simple and somewat enjoyable, became unnecessarely complicated quickly... way too much time wasted crosschecking and sometimes backtracking, let alone I managed once to get stuck so bad that it needed reset... only to restart from scratch.
Screw that.

They should make all of the platform toggle permanently once boss is defeated. At least backtracking would be easier
