    What authority or who has the ultimate right to tell or to dictate to any other sovereign nation state what weapons it can or cannot have to defend itself? Surly not the voice of just one country? It should be a preferable and legitimate, democratic right of choise of that nation. If the Middle East and some African states could make their own 'nukes' to protect their natural resources, I don't think Europe and the west would interfere and meddle into their affairs or their way of governance as they do. There would be a level playing field, you hit, we hit back. All sides would have and show a little more respect to each other. But saying that, countries that cannot afford to produce their own nukes can also be protected by 'friendly' nations that can. It will stop the west playing their Russian Roulette with people's lives!

    • @MrProy33
      @MrProy33 26 days ago

      Why? That's not how nature works. It's not how history has ever worked. The fittest survive in part by being fittest, but also by weakening potential threats. This isn't difficult to understand. The universe has no moral code. Societies come and go... ask the Amalekites, the Aztecs, or the Zulu. What matters is gaining power and holding on to it. Everyrhing else is negotiable for a society, but not the basic rules of survival when it comes to empire building. Iran is on it's way out, just like those nationless drifters, called "palestinians." The persians are heading the way of the dinosaur, and there is no blame, just causal factors like the competing motives of other nation-states and Iran's failure to protect itself from risk.
