Austria: North Tyrol - Kappl, Bichl, Perpat

In this video we are driving through the small villages of the Kappl municipality that is located in the Landeck district of the Austrian land of Tyrol.
This area is part of the Paznaun valley, from which begins the Alpine range that is known as Silvretta Alps.
The municipality Kappl ist first mentioned in the year 1370 AD, and now has the total population 2 529 people.
The average elevation of this area is 1 258 meters.

Wow! That is one narrow, rough road! What do the residents do in the winter? Is it cleared of snow?

Kappl and Paznaun are famous sks resorts in Austria. So during winter the residents here are probably more busy than during the sommer season. This area is some 1300 m (or 4200 feet) above sea level - healthy living all the year around.
