Gosh, this build is truly breath taking. I mean, everything has been meticulously looked after and addressed accordingly, congratulations!. There's one thing however that's not making sense to me. I've watched your T56 overview video and I noticed that you are running the "standard size" TUET11010 T56 with a shifter extension. Please enlighten me. I would've thought the T56 Magnum F would have been a direct fit without the shifter extension. Yes/ No .? Your explanation would be highly appreciated. Thanks...!!!
Thank you for the kind words! So I have a TUET11009 with 4" Sikky Shifter to land me right smack dab in the middle of the shifter location. No cutting, no weird shift boot (OEM fits!), and the distances away from everything is perfect. I used a kickback, angled shifter to move the knob further back and it's incredible for hand placement. Magnum F would have been an inch or so shorter and likely gotten close to the radio during 3rd and 5th shifts if using a straight shifter. Boot assembly would have needed reworking as well. I quite literally center punched it due to careful measuring, so I'm happy with the combo.
Yeah, everything is brand new, so it'll need quite a bit of time for break-in so that things last. I'm very confident with the Legend Motorsports Block and know it's matching the goals of the build exactly. This will be one of the most torquey 13Bs you'll ever see.
