When this car was coming, Seojun looked panic as a normal person's reaction, but the look on Suho's face was totally numb and relief. He did want to die in that moment. Luckily that Seojun chose to follow Suho when he ran away, or I can't imagine what would have happened.

no matter what you say, the chemistry between these two is on fire. The amount that they have been through at such a young age is dreadful but they have always been with each other. The song choice, voice overs and scenes are so well put together I don’t know what to say- it’s sure to fool anyone (that hasn’t seen/read True Beauty) into believing that they’re a couple. The way the scenes are put in this order is almost like it’s chronological with a hint of flashbacks, from innocent looks at each other to an intense plot (e.g the car crash scene).
This is literal perfection and boy am I glad RUclips recommended this to me.

I would honestly like the show more if it was more centered on how their friendship was ruined and they become a couple or even friends again. Instead of a show about makeup. Don’t get me wrong I love the show and it’s great, but I feel like their story line and seyeon could have been a good story line

@Blue Jean -Red Gurl I think the problem of this show is that it's so cliché : it's like everything you already saw. It's like a mix of extraordinary you, gangnam beauty and school 2017.
I think the show could have been good if the main character (Ju Kyung) were less naive, or even sometimes stupid. Like it's okay to make those type of characters in a show, she is insecure and somehow you get attached to her. But I'm kind of tired to see this in kdramas (well this is a drama for teenagers so nothing surprising) and I'm really hoping they can finally make good females character..

It is like she is totally changing herself for society . I don't like that at all . I don't want anyone doing something just to please others . I would have liked the story better if jugyeong was an insecure girl , but after meeting suho and seojun and having so much better people around her , she finally starts to be confident enough to show her real face to the society and ignores all the haters , I wish that she gets some character development . jugyeong literally thinks that being pretty is the only thing that matters in life , she always discourages herself and does not fight back . I don't think jugyeong gets the idea that her looks are not the problem but the society's standards are . I hope she becomes a more confident and strong girl that loves to do anything that makes her happy rather than trying to meet society's ecpectations . I hope she understands that the people that are there for her even in the worst situation are real friends and get rid of all the fake people in her life .
@@sajishags1818 well I think the drama is pretty realistic on this point. Actually, they could have go even deeper with her fear. The thing is : I feel like they turn it in a ridiculous way. The last episode made me feel compassion and affection for Ju Kyung for the first time, because I really felt bad for her. But the problem is that I should have had this feeling all along. But as they made ridiculous, I couldn't really feel connection to her character. The problem they bringing is a real one : Korea is a country that love pretty people. This is a reality. Teenagers and people are insecure and growing with this lack of self confidence, this body shaming and this expection from society is a real struggle. I think they missed showing the real problem in the drama. I don't think the character of Ju Kyung is bad in itself, I think all her emotions are justified, all of her fears etc. The problem is how the drama don't tell she shouldn't feel that way and let us think it's okay to hate "ugly people", to hate ourselves is we don't correspond to society's exception. I think they don't solve the problem they showing, they make it even worse

Jugyeong is not quite insecure you know it's just that she is traumatized by how she was treated in the past . She just don't wanna be treated like that again . She just wants to have friends and wants people to understand her . And yeah the drama should have reflected on how it's not jugyeongs fault but the society is the problem here, and she shouldn't feel bad about herself at all. It just shows that people would treat you bad if you don't reach their expectations . It should have showed how bullying can affect students . I wish the story focused more on jugyeong and we could know how she was actually feeling . I wish the bullies get what they deseve along with soojin . They are real snakes . I hope they get exposed by others

I personally think that this show doesn’t really deserve all this hype. You can always guess what’s going to happened next. Like it’s just one straight path, no twists. However with these two the emotions and chemistry is off the roof. I think that the main female lead is also very plain. Like she needs more character to her character. I think that if the drama were more focused on these two rather than a love triangle the drama would be so much more than it is now. In the first episode it had a little bit of potential. But as more episodes started airing the more boring it got. All that really got me interested was these two. If it was more focused on this amazing friendship and how it blossomed. How they were separated and brought back together in the end. Their back stories and such, the drama would have been a hit. Instead of being so cliche and more realistic. These two characters could’ve had something, something more. I think that it would’ve had me crying if it were focused on these two. You can see the way they look at each other each time they’re on screen. The way they care so much about each other but no one dares to show it. There is so much that needs to be unfolded, which is why it’s the only reason I continue to watch True Beauty. I’m hoping that there will be some plot twist in the end, something that one could’ve guessed was going to happen. I loved how you captured the emotions in this edit. I adore it! It’s probably my favorite. Thank you for making it.
