    How would u approach this question if both of the sin angles needed an upper bound to maximise the values?

    Sometimes you might have to be careful though. Luckily we assumed theta to be acute. If it may have been obtuse, we would have to check the sine graph again as it starts decreasing after 90 degrees.

      Exactly

      are you guys slow or something if x and y are 75 and 80 how can it be obtuse stop trying to sound smart

      @@lumoz7799 I'm not trying to sound smart. Yes I did calculate that, hence why I didn't call him incorrect. Just re-affirming that it should have been addressed in the answer. My god this comes off as aggressive.

      there was no assumption that theta was acute, it is literally in the question as a value lol

      @@NeilDoesMaths yeah fairs, but say if it wasn't you'd have to be more careful

    What exam board was this?

    Say you used the UB of y. When u try to maximise theta to get as close as 90 degrees can u use the LB of y or do you have to use the UB of y because you already considered it previously.

    • @NeilDoesMaths
      @NeilDoesMaths  19 дней назад

      You can use the same UB/LB more than once

    Wouldn’t the upper bound for C be between 11.54 to round down?

    • @mystery6980
      @mystery6980 20 дней назад

      In bounds we represent as inequalities so
      11.45

      @@mystery6980 Yeah that's what I thought too. I was just thinking of conventional rounding where the other digits didn't matter. Practically that does make sense though. Thanks!
