Frans Georges haha, it's a great guitar. Starting to see them around more often now, but thanks man! Great work on those full album covers btw, don't see many other people that do that or do it that well, very impressive work.
For an SE model they're top notch. Much better than most of the guitars within a similar price range. Cheers man, gonna take my time until the next one though, they're a lot of work! :D
Frans Georges I can only imagine the work you put into those, just learning all the songs accurately takes awhile let alone recording and editing a full album. I try to do full albums but by song and I always get down to the final 1 or 2 songs, get bored of the album by that time and end up never finishing it. One of these days though I'll do one lol. Anyways, look forward to the next one you do!
Haha yeah it does take quite a bit of dedication but I always have to have a strong liking for the entire album before I set out to play it all. Definitely man, give it a go, very rewarding and satisfying in the end lol. Began slowly working on Phobia by BB just yesterday, so hopefully I'll have it up in about a month or so.
Frans Georges Yep, that's always been my problem in the end, dedication lol. I have a very specific album in mind if I were to ever do a full album cover though, so that's a start I guess haha. Nice pick with Phobia, very guitar-heavy album, fun one to learn and cover the full album for sure.
muito bom cara, parabéns! qual afinação você está usando? qual efeito você está usando? over drive ou distorção? está usando amplificador? que guitarra é essa?
I use a Line 6 Spider III HD150. For clean I use a little delay and reverb but my distortion is dry. The trick to getting a good distortion is to not over-do the gain/drive. I usually keep it around 6 or 7 and then once you do that, most amps become pretty tweakable and you can zero in on a good distortion setting.
+Mr. Uber Back in these days, I used to just plop a Blue Yeti microphone in front of my amp and play and that was pretty much the extent of the recording process. Since I record with a microphone, all the tone is from the amp and I currently play a cheap Line 6 Spider III HD150 but I try to get the most out of it as I can. Line 6's weren't exactly designed for recording so it's hard to make it work, but I do it anyway. :p
Oh. =( That's okay, and as to your other reply, yes it sounds a million times better. What kind of Mic do you use? I use direct recording via USB from my AMP but it's hard to get a good tone. Could you tell me the kinda Mic you use? I might get it because I like your sound.
Final Beta I'm currently using a Blue Yeti but I'm getting a Shure SM57 very soon to replace it. The SM57 is what most people use, the Blue Yeti is way too big and bulky to use as a permanent mic but it gets the job done for now.
Sorry to be a burden, but one more question. What kinda guitar is that? It's sexy. Lol I do covers too. I'm a noob though because I only have like 17 videos and only a few are in HD.
Very good. Lots of talent there. Keep rockin
just perfect
Great work man!
Very rare that I find someone else with a Clint Lowery sig!

Did you start to Mic up your amp or something? Because the sound is way better than I remember your old covers being.
Yup, I mic'ed my amp and I edit in the backing track separate now so it sounds a bit better compared to my older videos.
Wow I watched all of your sevendust stuff (my fav band) how is it you like my second fav band? =\
What is the amp that you are using ? Any kind of effects ? You sound just like the record, it has that specific grunge in the sound. Awesome cover :)

ok, thank you very much :)
How do you get that amazing tone? What do u use to record?

MysticGuitar77 Thanks for letting me know! :^)
Oh and one more thing, Tabs? Please!! I want the exact tabs you used.
Don't have the exact tabs for this one, I learned it by ear, sorry.

lol, it's a PRS Clint Lowery SE.
:O you need to teach me the thing at the end xD
@MysticGuitar77 what gauge strings do you have on that guitar?
Medium top/heavy bottom, 11-56 gauge
I really wish you had tabbed this out. Been trying to learn the bridge rhythm and solo for over a year and I can't find tabs that seem good. :(
Oh really?
ChesterKiwi The Great Yes.
Hey man, check your messages over on UG, I sent you a link to a very accurate tab that's pretty much exactly how I play it, probably even better haha.
Will do.
Just checked the link. I never even knew about that site. Thanks!!
how
much was the gatre
The guitar? I paid about $650 for it.
What kind of prs is that?
Clint Lowery SE
You don't need the original song to build a guitar cover instrumental!
