This video is inspired by the Wes Anderson tiktok trend where ppl were visiting places and editing it all fun & silly like one of his films.
Fans of his movies may notice the beginning monologue is a slightly tweaked version of the intro to The Grand Budapest Hotel, and the rest is filled with references to Fantastic Mr. Fox 🦊 this one took way too long to make haha so I hope you enjoy!
(there may be Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul references too :P)

Something like this actually happened to me: a few years ago, I was sitting at a table at the local public library deeply engrossed in a research project. When I eventually got up to leave, a young woman seated nearby presented me with a sketch of me that she had drawn. I was both surprised and flattered at this gesture.
This was my move through highschool and university. Draw a girl all through class, hand it to her at the end. Sometimes without saying anything other than see you next week. Couldn't use it constantly but pretty often.

@@tfwnoyandere Dangerous ASMR has some series that just forgo Asmr and go full on 1920's action radio show and Mother Reye just suck you into her weird little worlds. Really love when they go full on radio theater like when the "Not Cow" storyline
Amy's skripts are so unique and compelling, at this point I feel if she wrote a book from one of these ideas it would be very successful.

It's incredible how watching this makes me more aware of how a Wes Anderson movie works. From the camera zooms and angles, the type of words used in the voice-over, the repeating of the same phrase in thought and out loud, to the absurd humor of introducing a plot point and immediately rejecting it again. I am, however, most distracted by you reading the hitchhikers series. I am currently re-reading it and finally made it to "So long and thank you for the fish" after getting distracted by life too often 😅

The sort of repetition/back and forth between the monologue and the “actual” talking reminds me of A Series of Unfortunate Events in the absolute best way possible

This is actually insanely good! The opening monologue is something of a "feel good" movie and fills you with a sense of comfort and intrigue at the same time. Hope to see this character again at some point
There are certain moments in this that just *slapped* me in the face with Wes Anderson-ness, particularly in terms of delivery and tone, and I love it

honestly compliments is one of my triggers and im glad someone is actually putting that. its a little less known i think, i literally have a video saved just for that one time they said i was pretty and i go back to it every now and then. I’m glad there is a whole video of this

Oh my god, this is already just _so_ delightful. I love your soft, mellifluous tone of voice in this. It's very "audiobook" voice, in a good way. It also reminds me of the narrator of The Haunting of Bly Manor.

Im legit crying rn. This video reminds me so much of my old friend Kelly. She was such a sweetheart. We used to hang out together in the bookstore, she loved to paint pictures of people, even her middle name was French. She was one of my best friends. She died while I was locked up. RIP Kelly. I miss you so much 😢 💔

I really love soft talk asmr so all the narration was right up my alley! Especially the part over you mouthing to Mortimer the Cactus 😂 the combo of the mouth sounds and overlay soft speaking was SOOO tingley

I love your skits! You are very creative, and have a great sense of humor. It's also very obvious how much fun you are having, and it makes it a very enjoyable experience. I think the most impressive part of all of this, is that you are able to manage all of this wile still creating a soothing, tingle filled video.
