Happy to find this I am enjoying my BM hunter and I'm new. I had enough of the other channels saying its boring and so on I love it I can focus on learning the dungens.
This guide was very helpful. I normally play melee plate dps classes like the ret paladin and fury warrior so I had no idea what I was doing with a physical ranged dps class like the hunter.
What I used to do was replace the normal Cobra Shot and Kill Command with these simple macros:/petattack/cast Cobra Shot And... /petattack/cast Kill Command That really helps you position your pet in the middle of an AoE pack in order to maximize Beast Cleave. Ofc, I haven't played in a while so not sure if the formatting is correct or if it still works, but you get the gist. I also used Master's Call to recall my pet to me, then KC to sic it on a new target if the two targets are far apart and I'm standing between them. Getting an addon called "TimeToDie" or something along the line helps you estimate when your target will die so you know when to use Crowstorm on it. There are tons of tiny little tips and tricks that only come to you through experience, but those are the ones in remember for now.
I found this guide very confusing. When you start explaining the rotation you say Kill Command is top priority but then in the top left the icon for KC appears in 2nd place, then the icon for the 2nd priority command appears in position #3 and a new icon, which isn't explained and I didn't recognize appears in position #1. Also at this point I have no idea which build you are explaining, is it Zoo or Frenzy? Not one of your best efforts.
as u could see of the video he explained the normal filler rotation and the zoo rotation and the dire frency rotation u spamm Killcommand on KD but its u prior nr 2 because other abilitys are more important to take note of

Well, with Roars of Seven Lions and Qa'Pla(which make the best combo), go for Zoo build with Aspect of the Beast, that is if your crit is solid, I would say 30% +. If not, Dire Frenzy Build will be an equally good choice for that setup, especially if you have more Mastery. Can't tell for sure without simming your char. And thanks! :)
Starting WoW again after 4 years of quitting but going to main my hunter (current lvl 23 with twink gear). Which spec can you recommend, should I go BM for pve? (I choose hunter because I have artheritus and I heard it's less click intensive)

This is a dumb question but when I teleport into a dungeon my pet goes away and I am unable to summon the pet again when I am in the dungeon. Why is this happening and how do I summon a pet while in a dungeon.
My dmg output is 200-300% lower when following this guide. Using Cobra for most of my focus then using kill command, or using Cobra when kill command is on cooldown. Using chimera got me much more damage, but I'll stay with dire frenzy because I can tell the dmg output there is better. Is this guide only for 110? Just wondering.
jo,i cant decide which spec to play.....i want to do some easy dmg, but dont want to be the last dps in every raid.....the thing is i tried all 3 specs, and i just did single target on dummy for about 3 minutes per spec, end up 780k dps as a marksman, 720k dps as a survival and here is the freakin surprise! bm hunter 1 million dps single target after 3 minutes dummy, and thats with just an item lvl of 918?! (my mm item lvl is 927) when i play bm in antorus hc/mythic, will i always end up beeing last in dmg meter? /:
Didn't do much PvP on BM but I would assume a Devilsaur for the healing reduction and probably put it in Cunning spec. Marksmanship, working on next so I'll let you know. :)

But I have only one question: why is it better to take Way of the Cobra over Dire Stable when using Dire Frenzy? I mean, you have no extra pets from Dire Beast. Also, does it increase 10 or 20%? Does Hati count ?
Both of your pets count so is 20% extra right off the bat, then 10% per Dire Beast. Dire Frenzy, you lose the beasts but the 20% extra is still better than the extra Focus since you don't really need it if you play properly.
With crit 30%, haste 21% and mastery 75%....would you advise to stay Dire Frenzy? ...plus that 90% rule doesn't match with e.g. the Legendary chest piece, since need to keep that buff up :)
Selwen Do you know which is an easy way to sim? Btw, since I dont have the shoulders, which combo is better of these 3? Belt, boots, chest......I understand what you mean with the boots, but I kinda love the opener with the Killer Cobra talent.........I hear the chest is BiS but I find it quite annoying to keep that short 7 sec buff up............lastly, seeing the new tier bonus, I wonder how useful the wrists are......I actually use them a lot, since aspect of the wild can be used more often.....
To tell exactly what are the BiS legos or specific talents like that, is hard to tell, even Prydaz can be BiS for BM. Those sort of things comes down to sim because each character is gonna react differently to each lego or in the case of BM, Dire Frenzy vs Stomp Build. Just go onto Raidbots website, is quite simple and click on 'Quick Sim' then choose your character with all the different legos you want to test afterwords and compare the DPS numbers and done. You will get your sure answers. If you don't care about doing the best DPS that possibly can, you can loose some in order to play what you enjoy the most, like you said boots with Killer Cobra. :)
Thanks a lot for replying :-) I've had a go at raidbots, I'm no expert with that, but basically I compared 2 talent trees, using the Dire Frenzy one and the Zoo build, according to that site, Zoo Build should be better. My crit is like 31%, haste 21% and Mastery around 76%. I did in the end ditch Killer Cobra. I would pick that one IF I would use the belt, but am using the boots now with the chest. So far, have been really unlucky with my 2 characters I did Antorus with :-) My main, a Resto shaman, in 3 weeks, 0 Tier set items....and even did 7/11 heroic this week, 7 times gold :-D. Weird how that goes, since a guildie that hardly played, got 4 tiers in one run. I ended up ditching my 2 ToS tiers I was still using, since the ilvl of the other items was quite a bit higher, plus resto bonus of ToS was a bit meh. I do love the BM bonus, so hopefully soon.........owww right, she (panda female) did get a tier item....the chest ofc :D. Will upload her explosive +14 of this week soon, so far I've only uploaded some gameplay vids.......I really like your video, I tried doing something like this, but still a bit nervous when speaking, so I always end up deleting it :D. I do like the zoo build, but since it crit chance based, it's proc RnG, sometimes you get really lucky, sometimes it doesn't proc. I didn't get the tip you said about when you need to switch mobs, like e.g. Boss 2 of ToS....I tend to use that speed skill for the pet, but it takes (esp. Hati) sometimes a while before they reach the end point.....guess nothing to do about that then to wait until they're in 30 yard range to charge in? At least, Hati doesn't really charge in, wish they'd change that.....I know most people feel BM hunter is a simple easy spec, but played some alts as well......there's so many class specs out there that can be considered simple gameplay........my fav. class is shaman, so I got 3 of those :-D lately really enjoying enhancement shamans....sorry long reply, thanks for all the tips in the vid and your reply :)
Hi there, I loved your video and I'm a BM hunter looking to improve and absolutely wanted to have your auras (TMW) -- is the string still working it doesnt seem to want to import for me.
It means "Simulation", usually to calculate what stats are going to benefit your character the most in terms of DPS, among other things like talents or even Artifact Relics to once again calculate how much DPS it's gonna give you. You can also just use it to see what amount of DPS your character can do in various conditions, usually in Patchwerk like fights(tank and spank fights). That's done in some websites by using the armory of your character or a code that you can get with Simulationcraft addon. Raidbots is, in my opinion, the most simple, just choose what you want to do, select your character and run it to get the numbers.
You forgot to mention about pets and their useful abilities like bloodlust, combat res, healing etc~ unless you did it on another video.... no going to look tbh~

when you are doing mass aoe, spamming multi shot can yield amazing dps as it procs your artifact trait that makes your pets explode more often

Thanks! - Thats because the auras is from tellmewhen, not weakauras, so they won't work. :)

Yep it is only for 110, if you lower, things like artifacts traits will be missing for you and won't work exactly like i'm saying :)

Couple of quick questions..... in your opinion, what is the best pet to use for PVP? And what are some good Hunter mods for either BM or Marksmanship?

How do you have 2 different core hound colors summoned.. i thought the wpn simply cloned the pet you had.
Get green variant, clone it, then summon orange variant. :)

I reset mine and seems to still be working, are you: copying string > import from string > copy profile overwrite?

Just use macro for pet control on AoE (for cleave placement) and Kill Command. Look on IcyVeins Bm unter guide for those.

Its a Dps guide. I dont think that the heals and combar res. of some pets increases the damage of the hunter
